This was cute and fun Pop up bar. Avalanche STL is what it’s called. Food was great, drinks were festive and delicious. We also got to experience an AVALANCHE. It gave me ski resort vibes. There was a Photo Booth available as well as multiple opportunities for a photo op. I had such a great time. Everyone working there was friendly. 10/10

I purchased my ticket I online. It was $12 per person to enter. It wasn’t super crowded.

Amazing place to host an event. The space is cool, staff is professional and food is delicious. The bartenders and cocktails are top notch with seasonal, creative cocktails. The guests at the corporate dinner I hosted had a great time. Highly recommend.

We just hosted the inaugural Wallflower Poster show at Work & Leisure. Planning and execution was a breeze. The space is incredible—laid back, modern, playful, cool—and the perfect backdrop for colorful posters.

Can't say enough good things about Jordan and his team. They were flexible, accommodating, and delivered on delicious bites and cocktails all night. Couldn't ask for a better experience!

We had our Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party at Brennan's this past October. My fiancé and I loved the laid-back, industrial feel of the space. The incredible food and options for customization were just a plus. Ashleigh was the best coordinator and did so much to make the process easy and fun.

We hosted our NYE Rehearsal Dinner party with Brennan's Work & Leisure and it was absolutely fantastic. From planning to execution, food, drink and aesthetic quality; the whole Brennan's W&L team was a total dream. Not to mention their comforting and capable adherence to health and safety best practices during a COVID-19 surge.

The menu options are hyper-unique as is the venue layout. The entire experience was low stress with a super high reward.

I'd particularly recommend selecting Brennan's Work & Leisure if you have your own unique vision for an event. They're super eager to help bring creative approaches to life but also perfectly adept at filling in gaps if you don't have a solid plan.

Can't wait to find an excuse to host a party with them again.

I had the pleasure of hosting my first concert here. We had 70+ guest and Ashleigh and Jacob made the entire planning process enjoyable and easy. They provided us with ample practice prior to our event, a detailed curation meeting, and they were very adaptable the night of the event as changes were needed. The venue speaks for itself (added some pics) but having amazing staff to accommodate the experience was more than what we could have hoped for. We will be back!

Located at 3015 Locust Street in Midtown, a short distance east of Saint Louis University and the Fox Theatre, Work & Leisure is a unique event venue spanning 5,000 sq. ft. It boasts a flexible floor layout, three bar areas, bocce ball, shuffleboard, staging, and various other amenities. Whether for an intimate gathering or a larger celebration, Work & Leisure can host anywhere from 20 to 250 guests for diverse special occasions. I've been to several events here and the space proved versatile for each.
