My favorite coffee shop in all of Stamford! Adorable atmosphere, great food (turkey avocado club is my favorite) and of course, the best coffee! I love that it’s dog friendly too - my pup loves getting a pup cup as a special treat and always makes friends in line. 5 stars for Winfield!!!

I stayed at the Marriott about a block away for a few days for a conference and found Winfield on Yelp. I went there 3 mornings in a row because my first visit was so great. I ordered an iced latte and ham egg and cheese on a bagel. The service was friendly and fast. I ate at a table and watched people come in and out. Given its outside of the semester, it was not busy at all and I enjoyed my time. The latte was perfectly balanced and refreshing and the sandwich was tasty and filling. I don’t know why but I ordered the same thing all three days with different results. The service was always friendly, but on the 2nd day I was offered a plain or everything bagel and got an onion bagel. This is ok as I would have picked it if that was offered. The last day, the service was fast and friendly but I took it back to my hotel room. The sandwich was a hot mess with egg and cheese spilling out all over the place. I had to eat it with my fingers and could not pick it up like a sandwich. So while the service was friendly and efficient and the food was fresh and tasty, there was inconsistency on the food side. It’s a solid choice for breakfast and coffee and I would still absolutely recommend.

I LOVE it here. It’s a very chill, relaxed environment. They have a bunch of seating and more than enough outdoor seating. They’re Service dog-friendly AND regular pet-dog friendly, with treats to give your dog at the register ?. I have a service dog and I’m always worried about having to explain that, by law, my service dog is allowed to go EVERYWHERE with me. The employees weren’t phased and didn’t even mention anything about my service dog being with me inside at the tables.

They have a little selection of books to read, if you’re bored and didn’t bring anything to do. They also have games at the bench-seating tables across from the registers (at every table). It’s a great atmosphere. I’m definitely coming back to finish school work here.

picked this spot to meet up with a friend and it was actually a nice place to catch up since we never felt rushed. i also saw other customers taking their time there either chatting or working.

anyway place was spacious, as you can see in the photos, and lots of natural light spills in to the cafe which gives it a welcoming feel. we love the indoor decor and how they used real books as part of their design.

for the food, they mostly have pastries and sandwiches. I expected the sandwiches it to be served in a plate but it was actually given wrapped and in “to-go” style even though we mentioned we were dining in. oh well. The Hungry man breakfast sandwich was filling but good and I enjoyed my Turkey Club Sandwich. The best part for me was their Peanut Butter Mocha latte! it was sooo good and delicious! Glad they gave me the bigger size lol

also, location is great and they offer outdoor seating
option too. Glad we gave this place a go.

Their food is amazing I haven’t had a bad meal, their coffee is incredible. I really love their peanut butter mocha iced and hot. Both ways are great! Their employees are very kind especially Lily. She is the absolute best. She always made me feel so welcomed! It’s a trendy spot and if you love books it’s connected to the library which also has a used book store in it! What’s not to love!
