I’m in love, I’m in love, and I don’t care who knows it! Wild Ginger Bistro is a lovely farm to table restaurant in Princeton, serving a wide variety of tasty options (seasonal and locally grown). The hubs and I have enjoyed the lunch AND dinner options (we go often so we can try everything)! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and the menu items are really tasty and thoughtfully prepared. A few of our favorites: the Ham + Cheese Gondola Sandwich, Thai Chili Bowl, Meatloaf, Smoked Pork Butt Sandwich.

Food! Glorious Food!! It’s here! Come in and taste for yourself! Unique combinations with flavor depths worth diving into! But not to minimize those traditional dishes on the menu that have that “Wild Ginger” signature of flavor! A great selection of wines and an atmosphere that says stay, we’re glad you’re here! You’ll eat well and you’ll want to come back!

Excellent service, food and drinks. A must try!!! Highly recommended! Very nice atmosphere as well! The owner, chef, bartender & wait staff are top notch. As you can see - delicious food with a quaint and cozy atmosphere. We will definitely be back!! ❤️

My wife and I thought we would try out this new place and we absolutely loved it! Great food and presentation. The staff was so very friendly as well. The chef has some serious culinary skills and would compare the taste and offering to that of a much larger city. We will definitely travel to see them again!

We come in from the Chicago area and are used to some really great places, so when we are in Central Illinois it’s hard to find somewhere good to eat. Most restaurants tend to rely on fried foods and the same fare. Wild Ginger was a complete surprise. It’s very relaxed and the staff is so personable. It is like being invited into someone’s home for the best meal you can ever imagine. You will not find the run of the mill menu. Beautiful ingredients and thoughtful preparation. Everything is prepared from scratch from appetizers to desserts. The drinks are also so well prepared. We love the flatbreads. Stop in, you will feel so welcomed and Definitely won’t be disappointed.

This place is AMAZING!!! Locally sourced food (try the "Breads and Spreads" appetizer). DH ordered "Mom's Meatloaf" and I ate "Shrimp with Hand Turned Spaghetti." Dessert was outsourced, with 3 kinds of locally made ice cream; "Candied Ginger" for the win! Chef was working on his next menu for next season, and comped us a taste of his experimental "Pumpkin Soup with Candied Pecans and Fried Butternut Squash Skins." Wow. Super cute decor with antique tin ceilings. Currently celebrating their 6 month anniversary, and I'm a little afraid that soon we'll have to make reservations.

Went for lunch on opening day. Had the smoked pork butt sandwich and hubby had the tiger shrimp roll. Both were excellent and served with potato chips on the side.

Probably the coolest resteraunt I've ever been to, such fresh ingredients, very friendly staff, if you have the chance please visit. I was traveling when I went, so my only regret is that its not in my hometown. I've been thinking of their potatoes and shrimp pasta for weeks.
