Got a Groupon to use at Western Bowl... The Groupon states not valid Saturday’s after 6:00. No problem, so my friends and I finally found a free Friday night. Come to find out the manager will not honor the Groupon on Friday’s after 6:00 either. Probably should let your customers know your intentions before luring them in. New business is obviously not valued...

I normally love Western Bowl. Have been going there regularly for years. Tonight, however, will be my last time there as long as the female manager is working. Unbelievably rude service, actually accused me of stealing food they never delivered. Pin placement was horrible. We had to keep resetting. Half the lanes did not work. Get new management at night or this place will definitely close down. We watched that manager chase off over 5 lanes of patrons all leaving angry about the rude service and broken equipment. Really too bad. On a positive note, we went last weekend, during the day and the male manager was awesome, all lanes appeared to be working properly as well.

The staff was super sweet. I brought my 3 yo in for her first bowl, not realizing they don't take Discover. I only had enough cash for one of us, but they let us both bowl 2 games and brought her a little ball slide and put up bumpers. The place could do with some renovations, but the staff was nice and the price was right.

Cost is affordable, but high for the conditions. Walking in with my family it looked like an older bowling alley which was right up our alley. As we walk up to the front desk to reserve a lane we're greeted by a long black haired "Manager" . I assume that's her position. She had no name tag and was sitting on her phone "training" a lady to take care of guests. Very hateful towards the employee and at one point said, "I need to take a pain pill." Not until we were leaving and she was working the bar did she even smile. I brought my family back hoping for a experience like we had previously had and I was very let down. We will not be back unless management changes. Other then her, the maintenance guy and other workers were very friendly. Hope to see an improvement.

This location is on its last legs. Unfortunately, the bowling business is a very hard one and this, like many other locations is struggling. Under staffed, poorly maintained, this place will require a lot of patience from the customer. On the other hand, a family can still have fun here, which makes it a place worth visiting. We enjoyed our time, in spite of the glitches in the game and the service there. Bathrooms were clean and the overworked staff still seemed willing to go the extra mile, without which, our evening would have been a disaster. If you're looking for an inexpensive local spot to entertain friends or family, this is the place to be.

I don't know what happened to this place. Go to Paramount Bowl for a better time. I have been coming here almost every Monday for about 2 and 1/2 months. The last 2 times I've been in they were just flat out rude. Today I came and did there 12 dollar bowl till 5 deal. When i was in about my 3rd frame i noticed the ball speed was not being recorded... no big deal but i thought that if i was going to be here till 5 id see if i could switch lanes. The place was basically dead. When i went up to ask the lady she was very rude and just said they were supposed to work automatically. Honestly i could have kept going but i was so shocked and mad at how rude this lady was im never coming back.

Long story short, after spending well over $100 here, we were literally yelled at and given heaping loads of attitude from the manager for accidentally stepping partially into a puddle that they hadn't cleaned up, nor put up a sign for. The other one star reviews here are a very reliable indication of what your experience will be here. Don't give it a chance, your money would be better spent by throwing it in the nearest garbage can. It'll take less time, and you'll leave with an even better attitude.

If I cloud give this place no stars I would! I'm all about supporting a local business, but it's hard to when they are RUDE. I truly suggest they hire better help. Because the ones that are in there, will drive all your customers away! Truly disgusted with the way they believe it's acceptable to treat the people that come into their establishment.... Business lost and I WILL never refer people there again!
