They offer a few minutes of demo before they start the timer which is great especially for those that have never done VR before! It's fun for kids 8+ and up too. There are a lot of choices to choose from! I have to try the multiplayer games another time but the single player ones are fun too.

I took my 2 gamer boys, 12 and 11, and my daughter, 4 and they all had a blast. The boys hado been wanting to play VR for a while so when I saw that VR junkies was in the mall, I made sure to take them. The guy working was so patient and treated my boys like they were equals, which is everything to a preteen. And even my little girl, who although she was too little to play the games, she really enjoyed the huge chalk board they have covering the wall. This is the perfect place to go if you want to try something new and fun. My boys kept talking all night about how much fun it was and how my husband and I have to try it.

I rented 4 booths for 1 hour last Saturday afternoon for my daughters birthday. There was a bit of a time glitch but. Michael called us in advance and we were flexible so it was no problem. The girls got outfitted up by Micheal and his coworker and began playing the games. Several times the game either reset or malfunctioned. Gameplay must be monitored so to ensure the best experience and to help the players function as this is a totally new type of gaming. Micheal seemed to be the only one there that really knew the system but he also had to field people walking in and answer questions . His coworker actually sat down and started looking at her phone until we asked if she could help because one of the screens were black and then had to call for Michael. The headset glitched and they had to switch. They did not have time in the hour they were there to play anymore than 2 of the games. Bottom line, when you are paying 50 dollars an hour, you want to use every second.. All in all it was a good experience for the girls and they enjoyed it but a little frustrated by the start and stop and lack of attention. I am not sure they got any extra time and the girls couldn’t tell how long they had been playing. Another group came and they had to stop. They need either better trained workers or more on a Saturday to keep it running smoothly.

My boyfriend took me here for a date night, and it was such a fun experience! I was skeptical at first, but now I’m believer in VR. We were set up in two booths and played multiplayer games together. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

So I spent a few hours today at VR Junkies Jacksonville in Orange Park Mall. Its a Virtual Reality Arcade that provides top of the line goggles, connection and games which you can play alone or in groups. Normally, Virtual Reality arcades charge basically a dollar per minute, but on Mondays, VRJunkies charges a flat rate of 25 dollars for an entire day of unlimited time in VR.

Its clearly the most sensible time to get attuned to the experience and learn the game play. It was literally astonishing the amount of wonder that this technology provides already (and we are at the very dawn of this medium). I went with Wyatt Sanders, the enterprising young inventor. Interestingly I ran into Franklin Ritch, the filmmaker and auteur, whilst at the mall, getting coffee. Such a naturally bright fellow.

VR is awesome. And it is the future in a thousand unanticipated ways. I cant recommend getting acquainted with it enough.

The owner of the arcade, Oliver, is an enterprising and likable fellow, great support staff, comfortable and clever surroundings. Truly a well spent day full of moments of Awe.

VR Junkies is great! The staff are top-notch and virtual reality is a great way to spend time with people you care about long distance. I went to Jacksonville to sync games with my boyfriend in Hawaii. Fun times!

My friend and I went there yesterday for the first time and it was a great experience we played the rec room game and paintball. The prices are good, staff is top notch. We will definitely be coming back and even bring one of our other friend.

My friend and i had an awesome time!!! Plated the zombie game and between the thrill of surviving and the hilarity of fumbling around in the VR world, it far exceeded expectations. Look forward to trying another time soon!
