I’m only putting a review because I just felt really ripped off. I ordered on DoorDash so already high fees, tip, to receive what was in the photos for literally $35. I chose this over Robeks, all the other acai places to get this…. Unbelievable

Every time my wife and I drove by this location in Milford, we've been meaning to stop in for a visit. We finally did that on a Friday around 8pm. We almost didn't go in to the establishment because it looked dark inside and there were stools set up on top of the tables in the windows. Luckily we spotted a small "OPEN" sign glowing green and decided to go inside. The place was pretty clean inside.

We were met first by a young lady wearing her mask, who promptly announced that they weren't serving food anymore for the night. Good thing we only wanted to try the smoothies. She was joined shortly after by another co-worker (No mask on) who was blasting some loud, annoying music at full volume from her phone. The loud music was briefly interrupted because a call came through on her phone that she had to answer before fulfilling our orders.

The cup size of the smoothie was surprising large for the price. I've paid more for less at Robex, another smoothie establishment in CT. I had no complaints about the taste of mine. However as we were driving home, my wife took 2 sips of hers and promptly said it tasted like ice and water, absolutely no taste. I tried hers and had to agree with her... somewhat. I thought it tasted like muddy water.

In summary...there was really nothing tropical about this place. I like the price for the size of the end product, but I lost out by having to toss one of the smoothies out. Someone should introduce that employee playing the loud music from her phone to a pair of earphones. Not everyone has the same taste in music. I felt bad for the other employee in the store who was stuck listening to that for an entire shift. So even though I liked the price, size, and taste of my smoothie, this may be the first and last visit to this establishment.

My family loves this place. They hooked me with the free smoothy by downloading their app. Itch for this place couple times a week. I get that good happy feeling when I'm holding their cup of smoothy. Thankd

Food is excellent! Their chia oatmeal bowl is absolutely incredible and the Thai wrap is perfection! Their smoothies are good too but I always seem to go their for the food. I had the pleasure of meeting the manager Daniella and she shines in her role. You can tell she really loves what she does.

I'm not sure where the bad reviews are coming from on service. That staff were great, I was acknowledged and told she would be right with me. I waited just enough time to figure out what to order. The prices are great, the quality and the taste of the smoothies are worth it. I didn't order any food so I cannot speak on that but I saw them making items and they looked great. When I was given my smoothies she apologized for the wait 2 times. I did not wait long at all. Making a smoothie takes a few minutes so have some patience. I will definitely be returning here for more!!!
