Peaceful area to hike around and explore.  The remains of the old homestead is interesting to see.  There are several crisscrossing trails to hike.  The trailhead is marked with flagging tape.  Trails are NOT marked but are easy to follow.
➡️ Bug spray recommended!
➡️ Sugar sand is deep at the pull off / parking area.
Thanks to Denise the Exploring mama for putting this trailhead on the map. ? I never would have thought there was a trail here.

It's clear not a lot of people use this trail but it's not bad. I recommend bringing a bag to get some of the trash out. We explored several different trails but found signs of private property and hunting camps in every direction. There doesn't seem to be any available maps so I don't know if there's a way to keep going down any of the trails for a little longer since this seems like a big piece of land. Be careful with snakes, we saw a water moccasin right on the trail.

Nice area to explore and see nature. Some interesting history along the way as well if you look close enough. Leave no trace and enjoy the beautiful woods here.
