Really good loco moco! Great beef, gravy could’ve been warmer. The oxtail soup was super tasty - lived the glass noodles, peanuts, and the amount of beef it came with. No wait at all and got our food super quick. Oh and the macadamia pancake was perfectly cooked! Didn’t need any honey or syrup! Nuts were finely chopped. Highly recommend stopping by for an authentic meal on the island

We ordered the famous oxtail soup and Beef stew with rice. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and super tasty, but the oxtail soup stole the show for me. The meat pieces were fall-off-the-bone soft and packed with flavor, while the soup had a perfect, mild taste. Adding a bit more parsley and ginger really took it to the next level. The restaurant was packed, so our server might not have been able to stop by as often as we’d like, but they were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend this place for its oxtail soup!

Restaurant review - The one dish for which you need to visit this restaurant is the Oxtail soup - it’s mind-blowingly delicious!! The meat is well cooked and the soup is flavorful. Adding ginger and cilantro just elevates the taste to the next level. We also ordered beef stew which was decent.

This place is popular and full of people. We were lucky to get a seat right away. The staff here is busy and may not be able to stop by quite often but they are super friendly.

The tip top motel was great. I would recommend it. The rooms are clean and the air condition works well. Ice cold if that's how you like it. Soundproof rooms, we love it and we'll be back. Thank you to the cleaning ladies at the tip top motel.

Like most reviewers, we didn't stay at the motel, we just ate at the Cafe. I took my boyfriend here for brunch on his birthday. This is a local gem and I can see why! It was packed but service did not skip a neat. We were seated right away and had our order taken as soon as we were ready.

I ordered the small oxtail soup and a hadhbrown on the side. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast combo that included eggs, meal (he got bacon), Mac Nut Pancakes and a hash brown. I was so jealous of his delicious looking eggs that I ended up ordering one on the side and eating it over rice.

Shout out to the Lola that took our order. She was on top of it.

Everything was amazing. This was such a simple meal yet so delicious and one of our favorite meals on the trip.

P.S. the small order of oxtail soup is still a large portion of food! I didn't eat all the noodles.

This review is for the restaurant only - the food was very good. I got the oxtail soup and my husband got the beef stew.

The oxtail soup was very tender and delicious and my husband thought that the stew was one of the best beef stews he's ever had.

The service was efficient and quick. They weren't too friendly / talkative, but they got the job done well.

Overall, very good restaurant and we'd go back.

This motel is a great deal for a short term visit! It is not glamorous but functional and clean. Check in was easy and we received a phone call just to make sure we were able to check in. The room had great air conditioning and it was a convenient location close to the airport, and close to Walmart, and many nice restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!!
