Wonderful experience here. Everything was literally perfect - yummy salmon with sauce, Brussels sprouts & potatoes, delicious wheat beer & terrific Apple strudel dessert with ice cream. Hot, fruity & tasty!! But what really made the whole experience so special was Joel, an incredible server who was warm & friendly while also being super helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend you check this place out & I can’t wait to stop back in next time I’m in Hermann! 👍

I was pleasantly surprised by the interior. Would like to return for dinner and sit in the side with the white table clothes. Apps were wonderful, and the service was great.

Great lunch experience. Just arrived in Hermann and came here. Great atmosphere and fantastic service. Enjoyed the taste but felt the meal was a bit expensive for what we got. That being said, the blackberry whisky cocktail was worth the added expense, and the food was well cooked and beautifully presented. It's definitely worth a visit, but probably not a second visit.

For $33 you would expect a seafood *platter* to have more than three pieces of shrimp and one piece of catfish. Almost more fries on the plate than there was seafood. See all that color on the clamstrips? You'd think its well seasoned right? No, flavorless. And more fries than strips, kinda decieving. We had to ask for salt, butter, and more tartar sauce to give our food some flavor. The pretzel sticks and cheese dip was legit tho. And that tartar sauce was much needed. Maybe they're hoping for people to come in wine drunk to be like oh this was delicious.
TLDR: not enough flavor and small proportions

I believe the staff working are on it to ensure the customer has a good experience. Very welcoming. It was our 1st time here and let me say... as soon as we walked we met the hostess Madison, so nice, the bartender Thor has a personality to match his name, great flow taking care of everyone. Melissa was a server i met and we chatted in passing, she made us feel welcome and I enjoyed the conversation. The food was fantastic, French dip & he got a veal dish. Definitely plan to eat here when we are in Hermann! Thank you too this great staff!

We got their burgers they're absolutely Divine cooked perfect the bacon onion jam oh my God... the atmosphere is absolutely stunning except it's starting to get chilly outside so it's chilly in here

Looked in an old grain mill. Lots of character and they did a fabulous job remodeling it into a restaurant.
Lots of exposed wood beams inside . Very cool . They are low hanging so if you're taller you definitely have to duck walking around .
The pork snitzel was good . Nothing amazing and at 27 dollars not real cheap either .
We sat outside as it was a nice fall evening . Our server was apparently the bartender also so we didn't get much service from him . The other servers took over for him .
I would probably try other options in town before coming back here again

Everything was good except my first entree was risotto: mushrooms were cold, plate was burning hot, and rice was overcooked. I ordered the veal schnitzel with red cabbage and potatoes and it was delicious. They were out of several thing on menu so call ahead and ask what's available that day. Otherwise great attentive service, will come back for yummy Moon whistle beer too.
