Truly a hidden gem! The renovations have put this place to a different level of beautiful. The golf course is so much fun and is excellent condition. The venue is bow super modern with breathtaking views and the food is delicious. I am very happy i found this place 2 years ago because it has been my second home even through the construction. This is a must see destination!

Ton of work done to this course over last few years, which makes it way better than the lousy overgrown mess it used to be. The facility is great, went to an event here and it was great. The grill and bar downstairs give you what you need at the turn or after a round. Plus you can order food delivered to you on the course. The course is very playable with so many trees taken down, and the views are great. Sand traps need some help, some cart paths need some help, and there are areas still being worked on and under repair. But you can see the progress, and for what they charge it’s a fair deal and worth it.

Played here a couple of days ago for the first time since I moved out of state 15 years ago. Well to say disappointing would be putting it nicely! This place is a mess !!! Cart paths ,What cart paths especially on the back 9. The greens are almost as bumpy as the cart paths. No trees left ,I was told they were removed after a storm knocked down many of them, well ok but how about cleaning up the weed mess where you cut the trees down ,I mean really this course for what they charge is not aesthetically pleasing in anyway, except to make it look good ,the bunkers and what you can see from the new banquet facility are the only ones that look decent, the rest are pretty much gravel. My playing partners took their balls out of the bunker as there were so many rocks! If your gonna charge CHAMPIONSHIP course rates at least make it a decent course first! Not going back here... Would rather play Sleeping Giant and go around x2 for 18!!!

Came for a golf outing. The effort they are making to make course improvements is evident. The staff and food were awesome. Julia and Natalie especially were exceptional. Thank you. See you soon.

Held an event here and the place is stunning. Staff was extremely friendly and management met our needs to fullest. It really took stress away knowing that we were being consider and accommodated leading up to the event date. Food was well portioned and cooked well, overall think this place should be a top consideration for events held in southern CT!

Course is under renovation and most cart paths are filled with rocks that will throw you out of your seat. Workers have no consideration at all. We were on the green and a worker was mowing around us… Also on one of the holes there was 2 huge sprinklers mid fairway so we couldn’t get to our balls unless we wanted to be soaking wet the next 3 holes and on our way home. Overall experience was terrible and would never go back.

First time playing here - from southern CT. Great conditions especially in the fairways and tee boxes. Cart paths and traps could use some work but serious potential for this place to be awesome. Staff was awesome drinks easy to get out on course and at turn.

A great experience for the first time playing here. They're definitely investing in this property and it looks amazing so far. Ignore ridiculous comments about the cart paths. Yes they're beat up but because they're doing major improvements with heavy equipment it would just destroy them. Plus, I've never gone to a course to examine the cart paths. The course itself is a great set up. Yes it's hilly but not as bad as you'd think. It has a great mix of difficulty. There are some real risk vs reward holes. After the round we decided on lunch. Bright clean bar area. Friendly staff and the food was great. Definitely get the smash burger. Matt (the owner) came walking through and stopped to talk to us for a few minutes asking how we liked the place and the course. An owner that has his finger on the pulse of his entire place is a great sign. In 3-5 years after everything they're doing is done this will be a legit top notch course and facility. For the negative. Expect a roughly 5 hour round regardless if it's busy or not. We had a 730 time yesterday l. The group in front wasn't slow I think it's just the hilliness of the course but it has some cool views. Overall with good company it's still fun. I fear with all the improvements and things Matt talked about doing they'll price out the local community (which a number of holes run along the backyards) and eventually this may become a semi private course to afford the upkeep. Hopefully not though. Almost 2.5 hours to get here for us but well worth it. We'll come back down in prime season though. Overall it's a 7.5 out of 10, soon to be an 9.
