We've been here many times over the years and find it a hidden gem on the Alabama River outside of Selma. Our recent trip revealed a newly added, smartly done downstairs area with a few TVs, tables and chairs, drinks, and quick snacks, including sandwiches. We were impressed with the addition, and it seems clever to add a quick service area to supplement the cook to order area upstairs.

We had a meal upstairs, and we've never been disappointed with their bar food offerings. I had a good cheeseburger, which was piping hot, and I was told the shrimp basket was good.

They offer indoor and outdoor seating with a good view of the river, a friendly staff, and very nice restrooms. The road has been repaired as well, making it a smooth, paved ride.

It's a decent ride for us, maybe 45 miles, but we're going somewhere on the motorcycles, and we like it here. You owe it to yourself to stop by, enjoy this marina, and support a local business that's continuously making strides to provide a great experience.

I went today to Sandbar, expecting a awesome experience. When I got inside the waitress said I could sit whatever I want to. The bar was almost empty and I sit on a 4 people table with a nice view. The waitress come back to me and asked me to move. Is very unprofessional and impolite ask somebody to stand up and move !!

Atmosphere was cute. The food was not great. The chicken didn’t even look editable. I tried it; however, it wasn’t slimy and not tasty. The honey mustard tasted like it had vinegar in it. The ranch was very good though. Overall would not recommend.

It's ok! That being said, it's probably the best food you can find in Selma. Not worth the price. The waitress was sweet . I will brag on the atmosphere, good music.

Always like to stop here when visiting Selma. Clean, good view of the river, and nice people, as well as the food is really good and affordable for what you get. Had the fried catfish / okra and grilled shrimp, hit the spot for sure.

We had lunch here recently. To begin with the restaurant is kind of in an out of the way location. There is a good waterfront view though. There were several menu items that were not available at the time we visited and it took an excessive amount of time for our food to come out of the kitchen. The food was okay.

My boyfriend and I took our dogs out to eat with us on a Friday night. It wasn’t very busy, so that was nice since I have a fairly hyper puppy! It was a nice night to sit on the deck though. Good atmosphere and the food was great!

Great place to eat! Super friendly staff. Doggies welcome. Handicap ramp was long but easy to get up. Bathroom was huge and easy to move around in. View of the river awesome! Definitely coming back next time.
