My husband and I were at Dezerland Park Orlando, FL to see The Fall Guy. We stumbled across the Orlando Pinball Palace. Pinball is a rare happy memory from my otherwise dark and traumatic childhood. With no singeage present saying that it was P(l)at by the hour we went in search of an ATM to get quarters to put in the pinball tables. I put 2 quarters in the Star Trek table and began playing. A male employee came up to me and explained they don't take quarters and it was a wrist band type place. He was polite and let me continue to play since it's a very often occurance. I explained to him that pinball is a rare happy memory from my otherwise traumatic childhood. I did put 2 quarters in the table thinking it still took them. He explained they didn't. At one point I got the ball "stuck" on a flipper and the employee laughed about it with me (should have taken a picture but didn't ?)! Great few minutes of reconnecting with a rare happy memory from my childhood during a year from hell so far! Sorry I broke the rules and didn't know! Thanks for letting me play for a bit on the Star Trek table! ♥️♥️♥️

A SCAM, more than half of the machines don’t work or they are turned off we approached the attendant and told us “It is what it is” he assumed that he knew half of the machines were down, we had to pay the entire hour and you can see what we got, supper disappointed DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

This is coming from someone who isn’t too familiar with pinball machines - I’m not sure why the reviews are so critical. We went on a Tuesday and purchased a half hour of time to spend playing pinball. There’s literally dozens of pinball machines here to try out! I’ve never seen a place like this, so it seemed like a very unique experience. Unfortunately, a few of the machines that we tried out had issues with it, hopefully they will work on repairing them in the near future. If you’re attending Dezerland, visit this! It’s a very unique experience that is definitely worth checking out!!

I am a pinball fanatic, I was very excited to see an arcade completely dedicated to these unique machines. I look at an open machine at the entrance, and proceed to evaluate the machines. I saw some said 25 cents and some 50 cents. I decide to play in a 25 cent one, insert the quarter, start playing, and quickly it stops. An attendant approaches me… I thought he was going to help me figure out what was wrong, he tells me in a sarcastic way the games are not free. I was like “ I placed me quarter” he said that I needed to pay by the hour. I would have paid the hour but it needed to be stated clearly in a visible sign. I was offended because he made it look like I wanted to play for free. There was a very tiny handwritten sign that I was able to find (at the entrance) as I was leaving. This concept idea is nice, but they need to invest money and/ or effort in better signs and/ or having someone greet people at the entrance and give information. They need to give training to the employees on how to deal with customers.

Reasonably priced. Fun games. Nice low lighting. Great oldies music playing. They even have step stools for kids which was a nice accommodation. There's a separate room with a small museum of antique pinball machines. I noticed a few reviews complaining about inoperable machines, but there are so many working machines and many of these retro machines are antiques and it's understandable how they may need a little extra care. Definitely will return!

*If you read this dont go, all the machines have issues**

—- Read the other comments its not the first time someone says this—-

I was extremely disapointed in my visit to your establishment. Many machines were out of order. The list on Pinside has lots of errors many games were not there and most of the games that were on had issues. Taxi and Road Show had all the Gi lights off, jackbot kept resetting. Johny Mnemonic when you lock a ball it froze. Ripleys the switch in the outhole was not working. Class of 1812 had a lane where the ball was always stock, etc…. Not going there anymore. Also the staff didnt seem to care that the machines were broken when I told them.

Pretty disappointing if you are familiar with pinball. I played 4-5 machines in a row where I couldn't finish the game due to malfunctions or balls getting stuck. Most of the games need flipper rebuilds really bad. The only game I played with minimal issues was the walking dead which was a super fun machine.
