We had a wonderful stay at this cozy inn! From the moment we arrived, the friendly and helpful front desk staff made us feel right at home. The room was spotless, with a comfortable bed and fresh, soft towels that had a lovely scent (no bleach smell here!).

Breakfast was a delight each morning, and we loved relaxing outside by the fire pit in the evenings. The indoor fireplace area was equally inviting, with comfortable seating, a fantastic library, and an array of board games that kept us entertained. It was the perfect place to unwind, chat, and enjoy some downtime. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, homely getaway!

We held my sister’s 40th surprise birthday party at The Litchfield Inn. Words can’t express how above and beyond the Inn went for me and my family. They were so professional and made sure to help in any way they can to make the surprise a success! The Gathering Room worked perfect for our event. It is so beautifully decorated I didn’t have to do any extra. The staff is so kind and professional. The rooms make for a comfortable, relaxing stay. You truly feel like you’re on a vacation away from the hustle and bustle. Thank you for an unforgettable night my family and I will cherish forever! We will absolutely be back!

This was a perfect weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary! This was our first time there and we had a lovely time.
Everything was clean and beautiful!
The interior design is stunning and just the right look for a modern clean country aesthetic.
The room was clean and very pretty. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was nice and clean.
The staff was wonderful, kind, and very professional.
The included breakfast was fresh, delicious, and had a few very nice touches with local farm milk and a made to order omelet station.
It was in a great location, close to the small downtown area, and set back enough from the road that it felt very private and quiet.
My only suggestion is to deal with a slight musty smell in the hallways. Nothing too bad, but should be addressed.
We will definitely be back, this was a great value!

Every year, my wife and I drive up to Litchfield and have a wonderful experience at this inn. You are welcomed with fresh baked cookies and courteous staff who are very genuine, accommodating and affable. The inn includes several amenities, including fire pits, large adirondack chairs for viewing the beautiful scenery, a polished yet cozy room for hosting events, and several lounging areas to sit, relax and read a book while a fire crackles in the background. The rooms are very clean, fastidious and comfortable – especially the beds which are like clouds. You can tell they invest in premium materials for sheets, blankets and mattresses. The rooms are nicely updated, and the showers have superb water pressure. The entire hotel is very aromatic, they use various diffusers with clean yet subtle scents that put you at ease. Breakfast is amazing and boasts a full omelet station, fluffy pancakes, sausage, bacon, fruit and more. Syed and his team are always wonderful hosts and go the extra mile to make our stay amazing, even going so far as to ship an item we left behind. Thank you for another excellent visit, we look forward to seeing you again next year!

Big room, with a comfortable king size bed, cozy bed linens, fluffy towels. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Breakfast was good, with freshly made to order omelette/eggs. However the breakfast room does not have a great atmosphere. It is very clean but feels like a fast food place. Which impacts the overall impression of the Inn.

The Litchfield Inn is a charming and beautiful place to stay. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and offer a comfortable atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. And let’s not forget the chocolate chip cookies—seriously, they were divine! The perfect sweet touch to cap off a great stay. I’d definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay in Litchfield.

We cannot say enough good things about the Litchfield Inn. My husband and daughter were staying for two nights after summer camp. Unfortunately, their rental car broke down and they had quite an ordeal. However, the staff at the Inn came to their rescue. The staff worked tirelessly to make sure that their car was towed and that they were safe. Their genuine concern for their well-being did not go unnoticed. It’s rare to encounter such thoughtful and attentive service, and their efforts were deeply appreciated. The exceptional service made a lasting impression, and we are genuinely grateful. The property is also beautiful. We highly recommend and will be back!
