This place was a true surprise!! Busy..great Sunday afternoon place to come for libations, terrific food and music! Jody was our waitress..let me tell you..she’s quick!!!
Peel and eat shrimp were huge. Burgers to die for and cooked to perfection. And then the fish sandwich was massive!!
Great place!! Highly recommend!!

What a great little gem of a place. Great atmosphere, friendly service. The band that played tonight really had a great variety of music that kept everyone dancing and singing along. The food was very very good. Everywhere I Go I always have to try the hamburger. I was not disappointed. I will definitely be back.

Came in with a group of 20+ paintballers (friends) to have a good dinner before playing the next day. We came in to have a good time and your staff turned it into a great time with good food and good drinks. They were very accommodating and the service was beyond and above excellent.

Bill, the owner, was so warm and inviting. The food is scratch made and it is so good! Go feed the fish and turtles in the canal. My wife and I felt like kids again feeding them, such a great day trip. We originally were going to another local eatery nearby and happened across the Lazy Lizard. After observing a cook at the restaurant we were originally going to lick his hand and pick food up and serve it, and then wipe his in hand across his forehead, that was sweaty and continue to cook. We decided to go back to the lazy lizard as it was super clean and the bathrooms were immaculate. The service was warm and friendly and the food was ridiculous! We got the special which was a blackened smothered grouper wrap, with onion rings and a zesty sauce, which was really good. The onion rings were thinly sliced and the batter was light. They were the best onion rings I have ever had. They are building a tiki hut and renovating the restaurant currently and it should be done within seven days. If you are in the area and looking for a great place to eat, hang out and listen to great live bands you have got to check this place out. I promise you you won’t be disappointed. They make scratch made key lime pie that is the best I have ever eaten, and I have tried key lime pie from Pensacola to Key West, and the lazy lizard has the best! The key lime pie is hard to explain how good it is. I will drive 45 minutes there just to eat another piece of pie, it is that good. We are going to brunch there tomorrow and I will give another review when I’m done, but from what I hear the crab cake Benedict and shrimp and grits is to die for. I’m sure it will be great. Oh don’t forget the appetizer which we had and was insane. They are called fried goat cheese balls, with honey, and balsamic vinegar. It felt like we were in an episode of Diner’s Drive in’s and Dives the food was so good!

Went for lunch. Lovely location. We sat by the water and watched turtles and an alligator meander by. Food & Service were great. Live music was 1 guy singing country music. He was okay other than it was entirely too loud. The waitress couldnt hear us and we couldn't hear each other.

Went here for lunch yesterday. The food was good! Our waitress was nice. There was a storm that passed by, the power went out about 20 minutes after we got there and we were still able to get our food and bill in a timely manner.

I was very impressed with The Lazy Lizard! It's a little off the beaten path, so I was completely surprised. The food was absolutely amazing! The chef definitely knows what they're doing! The flavors were to die for and everything was cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable. Then, to top it all off, we had a great time with The Jorge Valentine Band! Cannot fathom having that much talent across the board. All four members are out of this world talented! What an awesome night!
