The Jax Shack couldn’t be any better! The food is delicious and there is a great variety. The chicken sandwich with potato salad and strawberry lemonade is my favorite but everything I’ve had from there has been so good. The restaurant is especially clean and the outside seating is a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. They have a little kids picnic table that is fun for the kids. We’ve picked up food many times and loved eating at the restaurant today. Tony, Amanda, and their team go above and beyond to make sure everything is great for everyone!

First time going to Jax Shack. The food was delicious. I got the chicken bacon ranch wrap, potatoe soup, and cheesecake. There are lots of cold food options that are prepackaged for a quick grab-and-go.
Being that this is a new restaurant, they are doing really great. The restaurant is very clean, cashier is very polite. No indoor seating but outdoor there is a lot of seating (picnic tables, kids picnic table, tables and bar style seating).

Some things the business can work on is providing a water dispenser (they do have a bottled drink fridge and other beverage options), providing more hot food options like pasta etc, providing a few coffee options.
I will definitely be back. Loved it.

I checked out the Jax shack with my mom a couple weeks ago and I was so impressed. We both got Philly cheese steaks and man, they were better than Big Daddy's in Cornelia and that's my go-to Philly in town. I had already wanted to get cheesecake to go, but we were offered complimentary cheesecake cupcakes due to the long wait time for our food (this is not typical- they were working on a catering order). We didn't mind the wait, we enjoyed the nice patio and chatted. The cheesecake was even better than expected, I love cheesecake and after a bite of the strawberry a decided to bring a slice of the Cookie Monster home. 10/10. It was delicious even 3 days later. I can't wait to find time to go to Homer to visit again. Wish I had taken photos of my food, but it was gone quick!

I attended an event on September 18, 2024 in Homer, GA and experienced the best food catered by The Jax Shack! The pasta salad was the best I’ve ever had. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sun dried tomatoes and feta cheese made it all the more special! The chicken salad crescents were delicious as well. All of the food was amazing, as other guest at the event commented as well. The star was the Cheesecake. I never liked cheesecake until I ate it from the restaurant named for it, but the Jax Shack has the best cheesecake I have ever had. I will definitely visit the restaurant when I’m headed back to North GA! Well done!!!!

I have been to the restaurant many times, I’m never disappointed. The food and atmosphere is always amazing. The owners truly care for their customers. I would also highly recommend their catering options. They go above and beyond to make sure your day is special.

The food is the best food you can get in this area at the best prices. The Jax Shack was super busy when I got there and I still got my food in a fast time and it was perfectly cooked to order.
The only prices that can compare to this is fast food and they have no chance against the quality of the food.
The owner & Chef, taught me in Culinary and has given me the love of cooking that serves me well 4 years later. I will definitely be back as soon as I can.

I visited The Jax Shack today for lunch and had the chicken salad croissant and also got a bowl each of the broccoli cheddar and loaded potato soup for tomorrow’s lunch! The croissant paired with the pink lemonade were absolute perfection!! Portion size was generous and filling! You definitely get your moneys worth! Everyone was so friendly and sweet! I cannot wait for my next stop!

Jax Shack is one of the best options for catering and or dine in options in North Georgia. Incredible food and outstanding customer service. They catered an event for our worship team at our church and it was a hit. We have also ate inside at their location. Our people bragged about how great all the food was. If you have something that they can help you with hire them, you will NOT be disappointed.
