This spot is welcoming with a modern jazz-retro-vintage flair. Mike makes amazing espresso martinis! I've traveled to Italy, and I can say with confidence my Carbona was to DIE FOR! My boyfriend's Penne alla Vodka was delicious as well. Friendly service and talented chef! Highly recommend if you're in the Gilford area!

After having many great experiences here prior to last night, dear friends and I decided to dine here for dinner to celebrate my impending 50th birthday. Unfortunately, we left frustrated, disappointed and ignored. First and foremost, we were packed into our table like sardines in a can, offering minimal space to move our seats in or out across our meal. The worst thing was our waitress, who was not attentive in any way, shape or form. In fact, we sat there without so much as a drink for the first 20 minutes we were there. We weren’t offered bread, while patrons who were seated after us were enjoying drinks and appetizers. Had we not asked for dessert options I’m not sure we would have gotten any. The vibe was one of being annoyed and a bother. Food was admittedly delicious, though my filet was slightly overcooked and gluten free options were surprisingly limited. . Don’t know that I’ll visit again after the experience last night. I feel terrible my friends spent so much $ on a frustrating experience.

We dined at Guilford Bistro this week and unfortunately it did not meet our expectations at all. The caborana came out like a soup as opposed to how carbonara should be served. The filet steak came out burnt when we ordered medium rare. After we sent it back it returned raw. As a special for 56 dollars we were disappointed. The staff were friendly and nice but the food was the worst we’ve have had in a long time. We emailed them to let them know about the experience but we didn't get a response. This place is not cheap either, no starters and no deserts and it came to $ 177.… crazy!

I came here the other day, and the waitress was noticeably delightful. She was so friendly and so welcoming, and just gave off this comfortable demeanor.

I ordered my food, learned that there are no burgers at this place, and settled down to sit. She brought me this beautiful glass of water, but it was kind of heavy, and I couldn’t lift it to drink it because I’ve injured my elbows.

I asked her for a straw. She asked if I wouldn’t mind telling her how I injured my elbows and I told her “well I have Ehlers Danlos syndrome, which means…” and she completed my sentence for me. She knew what it was!

She is apparently studying to be an EMT. I have encountered many medical professionals in extensive fields of learning, who have no idea what Ehlers Danlos syndrome is, so I was very impressed.

She offered to open the door for me when I was leaving. She held the check down so I could sign it because I couldn’t lift my arm. She was insanely accommodating, and so kind.

I will absolutely be back.

I wish her luck on her studies! The world needs more people like her.

Short staffed but hiring! Still okay service but I have to give them 5 stars for the SICILIAN cuisine that was absolutely delicious! ?adding to my first review…. Went with my son for dinner and had a wonderful evening with delicious Expresso martinis ? ?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️another five star experience with absolutely fantastic food!

DUDE. i went here while i was in connecticut for a couple days and gee wilickers the caesar salad here was genuinely the best salad i've ever had in my entire life. there was 5 of us so we got 2 massive bowls of caesar salad but i ended up eating one of the bowls and then half of the other bowl. i would've eaten it all but sadly i had to share. then i got the special which was a flatbread pizza and that was pretty good, but not as good as the salad. so overall, i'm giving this joint a solid 4 stars !!

Today experience the food was not fresh the chicken taste almost on the edge of no good. Mediterranean salad should be much better than arugula alone on a plate? cost $8.95 to add chicken to a handful of arugula. I will not be dining there again.
The picture I put up is where we sat to eat our lunch, not clean the table had crumbs also. Very disappointed in this establishment. Very sorry.
