They took their time to customize the configuration, and help us figure out what was right for our yard and child. The installation was quick and incredibly well done. After barely surviving 3 months of quarantine in our NYC apartment, my husband and I decided to take the leap to the burbs a little earlier. We knew that right away we wanted a swingset. Taking the kids to the playground has always been a daily activity for us- and having a little playground on our own property just made sense- especially with COVID.

We knew we wanted top quality wood so that this thing could last all the way through grandkids. For us, the price of a well-made piece makes sense if you think of it as an investment. I saw many sets on Costco etc. at a quarter of the price- but after quite a bit of research into the best companies around, speaking to friends, neighbors, etc. we chose The Great Outdoor Toy Company so that we weren't just burning $1,500 on a set that would be a pile of splinters in a few years.

I'm glad we spent so much time researching, because our experience has been wonderful. From our first visit to check out the sets and talk pricing- where we spent at least an hour talking, testing the swingsets, and just letting our daughter enjoy their many set ups- to the actual build of the set, we've experienced prompt and professional service.

As you can see by the pictures, the swingset is a daily enjoyment for the kids and the adults!. It has helped us keep playdates outside and will undoubtedly be a favorite playspace for many, many years to come.

The Great Outdoor Toy Company is the absolute best place to find quality swingsets. The manager invited the kids to play as much as they wanted on the trampolines and swingsets before helping us find the perfect solution for your backyard.

I had an awful experience with installation of the swingset. Installer argued with me about the placement telling me he had to put it in the front yard and was very rude. It took me all of about 5 minutes to level off the area I wanted it placed in and it worked out perfectly (no help from them). Swingset is expensive but nice; employee was rude and not helpful.

I am absolutely appalled by my experience, recently, when I came in to The Great Outdoor Toy Company located on 104 Frontage Road in East Haven, CT. I was looking to buy a child's playground set for my church. An employee on hand, I believe named Jerime? Matias came to help, but I was immediately put off by a very strong odor of an illegal substance coming from this employee. He was very abrupt and pushy. I asked to see a manager and was told there was none to contact. Therefore I have no other way to make a complaint other than to post my experience on websites such as this. I hope that this may help prevent any one from experiencing the same service. I would also hope that the company, being a family business, would thoroughly screen their employees to prevent such occurrences. The company has such wonderful products, but at this cost, I can not see why I would choose to purchase products from any employee, such as this. Thank you for your time.
