Stayed here with my partner and we had the shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes and fried pickles to go since we arrive to the lodge late. It was so good we went again for lunch and had the shrimp and grits and shrimp po boy. The staff was very helpful and attentive as well

I ate here 10 years ago and the atmosphere is quite different now with an alleged reconstruction that appears passive not active. Having said that the quality of the food especially the beekeeper salad was noteworthy ,delicious ,beautiful presentation and flavorful. The gumbo on the other hand had an entire plum tomato which appeared to be canned, this is just absolutely should have been chopped up or at the very least quartered...

I love eating here. I feel so lucky to live so close. I go here to relax and enjoy dining out. When you get there, slow down, relax, and enjoy. It's difficult to find an experience like the lodge. Tuesday burger days is awesome!!! But any day is wonderful. Whenever my family visit, they want to eat at the lodge as often as possible. If you get to dessert before 6, get ice cream from the parlor for your pie. I'm so happy they have delicious vegetarian options every day of the week and burger Tuesdays they have a delicious portobello. Thank you Tanner for always being a wonderful server!

最後にここで食事したのは、私が大学を卒業した時で約30年前でした。レストランのメニューはその時とはずいぶん違う感じの印象でした。
しかしながら、30年前に一緒に来てくれた伯父と伯母のことを思い出しながら食事ができました。見える風景は昔のままで、自分が若かった頃の気持ちも思い起こすことができて、貴重な時間を過ごすことができました。私のフィレミニオンステーキとマッシュドポテトはとても美味しかったです。

With its beautiful atmosphere and classic southern food, this place is a time capsule of a bygone era. It's a wonderful getaway whether you're making a day trip or staying in the lodge. Everything we ordered was made to perfection from the fried green tomatoes to my boyfriend's Old Fashioned, and our seat by the window overlooking the springs was the perfect backdrop for the afternoon. They have specials throughout the week like Fried Shrimp Friday and Burger Tuesday, and they also have special dining events for holidays. Wonderful place to celebrate a special event, go on a date, or just get away and relax. Our server was lovely and made sure everything was perfect.

Christmas buffet was simply average. Service was slow . They automatically added 20% gratuity per person to the bill.
This is unacceptable as you have no choice in the matter how to reflect your satisfaction w/ food or service. We had one family member who could not eat beef or ham & they were out of the ( not local) Mahi Mahi.No offer to cook chicken, or crab cakes, etc.
Sad..it seems that food quality, service, thoughtfulness & kindness has deteriorated over the years here. It’s a magical room. It’s too bad the service & cooking is not commensurate.

Took my wife here for dinner. The service was outstanding, the food middle of the road. My steak was OK but bland, cooked correctly though. The baked potato was also ok. Recommendation if you ask for sour cream on the potato, get it in the side. My wife had more sour cream than potato. Her crab cakes though were excellent with just the right bite in spices. Overall a good experience but not top flight
