This is a small museum but was fun to see. There are some gorgeous and uniques horses with lovely history throughout. There are books throughout with descriptions of the horses, take time to read through... the paragraphs are interesting. Upstairs there is a fire museum and also a greek history museum...all included.

We had so much fun with our granddaughters at this museum. The girls were having a great time with the scavenger hunt. There was a dress up area for them to put on a play. They have a carousel ride for $1. Upstairs there’s a fire history museum with so many things to look at. Hats from everywhere, bells of all kinds, and all kinds of fire equipment and fire engine models. I think the adults had just as much if not more fun. Oh and they do the restorations right there that you can watch. Amazing place.

Our docent was extremely knowledgeable and just a fun person. Incredible collection of carousel horses etc. Well laid out. A real must see for carousel lovers with a little extra add on at the end of fire station memorabilia.

A fun place to take your motorcycle buddies to cool off after a long ride. Lots of great carousel animals to see here, gathered from all over the world. I especially enjoyed their miniatures and restoration shop on the second floor. The staff were very attentive and provided a lot of interesting facts.

Had my daughter's 7th birthday party here this weekend. This was probably the best birthday party she's ever had. All the kids had fun and the ages ranged from 4 to 10. I don't remember the women who helped us the whole time but she was fantastic!! I'm so glad we found this place and had this experience. We're definitely planning on bringing people to experience this unique place when they come visit us this summer!!

Beautiful and unique little museum with more treasures hidden inside. Visitors at any time can enjoy the extensive collection of carousel animals, exhibits showing how the animals are made (both past techniques and modern) and a kids area including a small carousel that children can ride. We visited in time to see a carving workshop, and had a chance to speak to some of the very kind and knowledgeable docents. We also saw a kids birthday party in their smaller downstairs event space. There is a beautiful, large event space upstairs with a grand piano and more carousel animals on display. Included in admission are two smaller museums, a fire fighter museum and a hellenic museum. They are clear labors of love. I found the whole place very charming and would love to spend more time there on a return visit.

Amazing place! With all honesty, it blew my expectations. I thought it was going to be a quick 30 minutes visit, but it turned out to be over an hour and half. Many things to look at, beautifully restored carousel items and a functional carousel. There was also a second and third smaller museums or showings of a Fire fighting dedicated museum and another to Greek culture. The kids also enjoyed the scavenger hunt throughout the museum and the arts and craft room. But, best of all were the people who work here. Very attentive and welcoming.
