I have been living at The Bryn for almost a year now and it is still my favorite place to be after a long day at work. I know that I am coming home to clean, quiet halls, respectful neighbors and the sweetest staff that feel like family. I also had a different property manger when I first moved in who I loved, so Adriana had so big shoes to fill. She has for sure exceeded my expectations and has filled the role seamlessly. Adriana is extremely communicative, kind and caring. She listens to suggestions and makes sure that everyone has what they need. Also my unit layout and design is the best and so is my view. There is so much to do in this neighborhood and living this close to the lake, you can't beat it. I love it here!

Nothing but a great experience living at The Bryn! Maintenance is so on top of any minor issues (shoutout to Alvaro, Fabi, Latrice, Jeremiah and Kelonee), and Adriana in the office is super helpful. Love it here!

Stayed here for around 3 years. First in their 2B2B and then their 3B2B. The units are beautiful and renovated with amazing views of the lake. I don’t think you’ll be able to top these views/apt layout at this price point. Everything is also automated through an app including maintenance, rent etc and it’s all seamless. Security cameras across all the shared spaces/lounge garage and all access points. Super safe building with privacy. The high rise itself is old but we haven’t really had any issues and even the maintenance crew here is amazing. I can’t say enough good things about Pierre, we’ve stayed in this building so long because the maintenance is a breeze. Pierre is super professional, nice and always helpful with anything you need. I can’t remember a single time when I’ve had to wait more than a day or two to get things fixed and even if it took longer it was because they needed to order parts or things were tough to get a hold of during COVID. The management team is also fantastic, Rachel and Brody are super professional and always helpful. I had to move out of state and the only reason I left. Even my move out was stress free thanks to Rachel and Brody and they were very accommodating of my timeline.

The place itself is in a great location with lot of restaurants, groceries, Buses downtown and the subway right down the street. Andersonville is super close and a nice 15-20 min walk with fantastic shops and food. Magnificent mile is a 10 min drive thanks to LSD.

We have lived here for 2 years in a 2B2B, and we never get tired of the amazing views! And there's so much natural light in this place! The apartments have been remodeled with nice, modern finishes. The fitness room is so convenient, and the patio is great for grilling out or sun-bathing. We've only had a few issues, and maintenance/management have been very responsive and helpful. Parking has also been a huge perk!

I just moved into the Bryn and I ar realtor in Chicago (I do not work for the company
-REAL REVIEW) I have seen it all. My decision to move here was based on the amazing team behind this stunning property. It's absolutely beautiful. For those who like the new car smell, this place has a freshness to it unlike many. I'm someone attracted to scent. If it's musty, I'm out, as are my clients. So the hotel-like remodel was an automatic appeal.

While the concierge here, Candace and Latrice, are incredibly friendly and helpful-along with the hardworking staff at Horizon -Kim and Alex in particular—I've got to give extra praise to the property manager, Adriana Martinez.

2 huge thumbs up to Adriana for her kindness, professionalism and impeccable attention to detail detail when it comes to running and maintaining a high rise of this magnitude with such grace and knowledge.

Thank you Horizon for the most amazing unit with the most incredible views I’ve ever experienced.

I moved here in July '17 and I love it! I moved from Lakeview East at Belmont & Lake Shore and I definitely like the neighborhood of Edgewater more; not so vanilla and gentrified but still safe and just steps from the beach! (no actual beach in Lakeview) Coffee shops, restaurants, my favorite vintage shops, Andersonville, all close by. The El is 2 blocks away but I'm always on my bike and the lakefront trail and Lake Shore Drive is super easily accessible.

My best friend moved into this building right before the new property company bought it in Aug '16 so I've seen it go through extensive remodeling. The finishes are similar to those of new high end rentals being built downtown, without the insane price. My studio unit (up to 3bd units) is the same sq. footage of my last place but the layout is so much better! I'm an architecture major so this is super important to me and something I would notice. Plus I have floor to ceiling windows facing south with unobstructed views across the city! The units have gone through a gut rehab; wide plank grey vinyl flooring, stainless steel appliances, quartz counter tops, deep large sinks, lots of closet space. These are all things I didn't have in my last place and there was only a $25 difference in price...The bulk of the remodeling I hear will be done mid-December so you shouldn't have to deal with much construction, so that's a huge plus although it hasn't been bad at all; I've endured much worse.

Some other features; The workout room, lounge with TVs and pool table, patio with grills, furniture, modern fire pit, video and FAB entry, and a bike room coming soon. It is definitely the best building I have lived in in the 6 years I've lived in Chicago. Check. It. Out! AND THEY DO ALLOW PETS! I have 2!

Love the building and the amenities. The G unit views are spectacular for both sunrise and sunset. Maintenance and management are super fast acting. Clean! 10/10

This building has several problems.
We’ve had mentioned before some of the issues we have to handle every day. The Elevators are broken. There is a crazy mouse infection into the apartments. And a huge flooding problem at the sealing. But, it looks like the manager doesn’t care to make something about it. And their reaction to these problems aren’t professional. They have an aggressive way to respond and handle these concerns.
