We just had an amazing prime rib dinner. The server was very friendly, helpful, and answered all of our questions! We highly recommend! Its worth the drive, about 30 minutes from Nampa.

I really didn't want to give this place a good review because I don't want everyone to know about it. Can't deny however that this is a great destination for a good meal with good atmosphere and you can walk right through the building to the bowling alley for even more fun. We had a 10-person group and they took great care of us all of our needs were met, everything was super fresh and from what I understand all the beef is local from Wilder. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the portions were very good. I had the 16-ounce prime with the loaded baked potato and it was top notch. I swear the loaded baked potato had a half a pound of bacon on it! We had onion rings as a appetizer and they were phenomenal! If you live in homedale you already know about this place! If you don't live in homedale it's worth the trip, great homestyle cooking with good people bringing it to the table. The bowling alley is a classic style lots of fun, computer scoring and I hear they have midnight blacklight bowling, and league bowling for all those dedicated bowlers. If you're in homedale go support a local business. You won't be disappointed.

Could have been way better over two factors. One the service was greeted with attitude. Went with a group for work. Asking for a drink was like scratching a chalk board. Two I ordered a steak sandwich, which u will see is the most expensive thing they had. New York steak they call it. Must be low grade because it was chewy with fat. A sandwich u could hardly eat. I was hungry and ate half of it with a little left. Overall this place can do way better with service and cooking food. Ya I get it, you had a huge party but you could actually pretend to love your job. Thanks

I've been ordering the same thing for four years. The cook Brad was unprofessional and rude. I have onions and pickles put on my ultimate grilled cheese instead of bacon. I'm vegetarian. The cook told me no substituting. I won't go back. I'm not going to put m yself through that again.

The food here is really good. I had the Reuben which can be hit or miss but was excellent here! When we decided we'd eat at the bowling alley, I imagined microwaved pizza but this is a great grill with good food. Just make sure you let the jalapeno poppers cool a bit before you eat them. Our waitress was manning the counter and didn't check in on us so we had to ask for everything while other tables were being checked on regularly by the other waitress.

I didn't realize you needed reservations to bowl here, I assumed it was to eat at the diner part. That part was my fault for not doing more research. You can't access their website so you really just have reviews to go on. It seemed really welcoming to that extent at least.
We have a local bowling alley but thought we'd try one that had amazing reviews but I should have realized the reviews were almost entirely for the food.

Bowling wise;
Most of their equipment was failing or half working.
Not the best attitude from literally anyone in there especially if you're not from there or in a league.

We tried to bowl in the near empty bowling alley (I think there's 10 lanes I believe, and 2 lanes were taken) and all we got was major pushback because of the lack of reservation. Which I definitely would have booked if I had known, because it was for our sons 7th birthday. Eventually the guy let us know we could only have till 5 after checking their books (it was 3:30), I said that was fine and more than enough time, he stood there on the computer, I honestly assumed that's how he checked us in, then abruptly asked "so what are you going to do?" I let him know we'd stay even though at that point my whole family was saying to just go back to our local one because of how rude they'd been in just the 5 minutes we were there.
But I try to always give the benefit of doubt because people have hard days and sometimes it's miscommunication.

He told us we couldn't have any bumper lanes so he wasnt sure what "they" would do (my kids), I said it was fine and we'd figure it out. That honestly seemed to irritate him more and I'm not sure I've ever seen someone grab shoes so irritated before‍♀️.

We got 2 lanes at the end and the very last one failed repeatedly so after about 20-30 minutes, he told us we could go to a different lane but the rest of my family was done with their set by then so I said we were okay.

He only charged for the one lane that worked and the shoes I believe, I might have missed it but I don't remember seeing pricing so I'm not sure.
We played in the little arcade for a little then left.

I really love trying out other local businesses in other towns around us and I was so excited for this one because what info I was able to find was incredible honestly. We drove half an hour in fog (our choice obviously lol) because of how excited I got everyone in my family especially our son. So only being able to spend 10 minutes bowling, being treated weird, and just feeling so uncomfortable the whole time like we weren't welcome, was really disappointing.

I think it's more meant to be a LOCAL bowling alley, assuming the locals are treated better than if they've never seen you before.
The whole experience was bizarre and unfortunate.

Maybe others will have a better experience especially if you know to make a bowling reservation ?

I liked the food. It's like your classic fine diner meals. If you want nostalgia, this place is it! Definitely be eating here again.
