If you love supporting local, go here! Family owned, not a chain. All their food is local with a scratch kitchen. Not to mention great staff, and great atmosphere! Live music indoors, or you can sit outside, kid friendly. Something for everyone!

Nice restaraunt on the northeast side plenty of parking. The waiter was very attentive but the tables are too small as was evident when our dishes were hanging off the edge when served. Very scenic and tasty food at moderate prices served fairly quickly. Brunch is really lunch and they do not serve breakfast. Plenty of room for eating outside too. Didn't like the feeling of being rushed out as the waiter asked us if we wanted boxes to go when we were still eating. The place fills up fast but there was still plenty of tables for people.

Outdoor with plenty of shade! The bar mixed our drinks with a heavier hand then normal, and the appetizers were delicious! Indoor space is plentiful if you want something inside. They have a play place for kids and a nice covered out building for a shade. The trees are blooming right now, so flowers did drop on the table just a little. Staff is helpful and pleasant. Were definitely going back...

This was suggested by a friend. Was our first time there and everything was very good! Nice atmosphere and setting. Chili had a nice kick to it.
Service was 4 star due to having to ask for a napkin and utensils and they forgot the avacado on the Barnyard Chicken sandwich. Was promptly replaced and
not a show-stopper by any means.
Would definitely recommend if you haven't tried them yet.

Been here 2x. The first time was soon after the opening and the atmosphere was amazing, the food was high quality (they had Halibut fish and chips) and I could not wait to go back when I came back. Second time was recently and it was a little disappointing. The Halibut was gone, the menu had changed, quality was lower and ingredients were clearly cheaper. The beers listed on the menu were out of date, and it was hard to settle on a beer that I wanted that they actually still had. It just wasn’t the same and its only been a couple of years and the quality has dropped so quickly. I may go back, but my expectations have been lowered. Still a cool place on the edge of town and is family-oriented.

Fun Atmosphere

Hidden near Mt. Lemmon, The Barnyard is a great place to have some playful dinner. Amazing food + drinks!
The outdoor seating is great. They have oversized outdoors umbrella to keep the sun away as well as big outdoor fans (non-distracting).
From cocktails, to appetizers, and onto the entrees— everything was delicious!!
Every food my family and I ordered was worth it. Presentation of each plate was up to standards!

This is definitely our new go-to for family gathering!

We had a group of eleven and had a reservation. I believe you have to have 10 to get a reservation. The tip was figured in automatically at 20% because of the large group…I didn’t mind this at all and actually left more. The waiter was sweet, professional and accommodating. My tomato soup and grilled cheese dippers were so good. I will definitely go back and take family members!
