I moved to Yuma in 2022, and quickly found this piece of heaven in Yuma! It was my go to spot for weekend brekkie (the waffle slut was my go to) and coffee. I moved away, but anytime I am passing by I always make it a point to stop by. I was recently looking for a wedding venue, I asked them and they host events, so the decision was easy we planned our wedding there! They went above and beyond to host us and accommodate us. I can’t speak enough great things about the owners! Super impressed with how everything turned out!

Sunshine Cafe is a hidden gem and one of my favorite places to meet clients and friends. Especially if they are new to Yuma, this little Oasis is spectacular. I always find a cute little gift idea for someone in addition to my coffee and treats. Perfect Location! We will be back!!

“Sunshine Café in Yuma, AZ, is a gem! From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff made me feel so welcome, and the high-vibe atmosphere was contagious. I ordered their Chagachino coffee, which was absolutely delicious—a perfect blend of smooth and flavorful mushroom coffee that I’d come back for anytime. The decor is cute and cozy, with lots of thoughtful details that make you feel right at home. I loved seeing the local raw honey and unique apothecary items for sale, supporting local businesses in such a creative way. Although I didn’t try any food this time, I’ll definitely be back. Sunshine Café is a must-visit spot in Yuma!”

Cute local coffee shop situated within an interesting courtyard with a couple other food trucks. We enjoy going here about once a week. As the weather has gotten warmer, we enjoy sitting outside in the courtyard but there is a nice sitting area inside the coffee shop too! If we are there on the weekend, my husband orders a chirizzo burrito from one of the trucks while I head inside to order our hot lattes. (I have also had their iced latte which is fantastic too!) Sadly, they only had sweetened almond milk so we had to opt for milk. The lattes were nice and smooth but I would have preferred the unsweetened almond milk. We recently tried Sunshines Acai bowl and highly recommend it. The bowl is big enough to share!

I have more recently had the bouji bowl and the sunshine bowl. I think the sunshine is my fave as it is a bit more substantial with the addition of almond butter and pitaya. Also, if you are not in the mood for a coffee, order the charcoal coconut. Coconut milk and activated charcoal and to me has some of the same flavors as hot cocoa.

Yuma's Sunshine Cafe is more than just delicious coffees and teas. The coffeehouse is also like a general store where they sell a variety of other goods.
They also offer some pretty unique dishes, like their mini pancake plate that comes with pancakes, bananas, and strawberries.
I enjoy my coffee cold so the frappes are my go-to. Now when it comes to the food, the acai bowl and breakfast sandwich have been my favorites. But, I intend to try out those pancakes and the avacado and bacon toast.
The patio is as unique as the food, imagine a garden with a waterfall and murals of the Desert all around you.
I can't say enough about Maria and her staff, they've become so popular that they have a food truck closer to downtown on 4th Street between 3rd & 4th Avenue.
Sunshine is perfect for those looking for more that just coffee, it's for those that enjoy experiences and sharing their adventures with others. Believe me, you won't regret stopping in.

Yes! THANK YOU for bringing this wonderful coffee shop to the Foothills! We love the outdoor space, the greenery, and the kicked back vibe. I can see us biking here many weekend mornings to come. I only hope they will add more food items to the menu... It would be great to enjoy a nice little breakfast burrito or hot cinnamon role. The cinnamon/brown sugar infused coffee is really, really good.

Sunshine cafe has great outdoor seating, quirky style, and many murals. The atmosphere is pretty hip, up cycling old pieces of furniture and other oddities, all situated around a pond and large trees!
3 stars because the breakfast sandwiches are expensive, packaged, and they are NOT fresh made, so 3/5 for breakfast. I got a vanilla latte with coconut milk and thought that the espresso was rather weak. Next time I will be trying a brewed black coffee or the espresso by itself to compare.
They have many alternative milk options. Rather small drink menu though. I was slightly underwhelmed by the options. I will be back to evaluate their coffee in its true form: black. ☕️

I was today years old when I found out about this gem ? in the foothills. Move over foothills Starbucks!!!! this place deserves your money. This is possibly one the best coffee shops I have ever been to in yuma or elsewhere. It has such an unique calming artsy and relaxed atmosphere indoors and outside. The outdoor experience is spacious with relaxed vibes and event venue grade quality. I could easily imagine memorable celebrations, weddings, receptions, and ceremonies being held here in addition to being an excellent coffee shop. If you haven't been here you need to experience this wonderful spot in the foothills
