Food is excellent, service is mediocre and no personality.

There were 4 of us craving Thai. Found this place at the mall, but it’s not in the mall which is nice. We were the only ones in the restaurant and the man and woman working were less than friendly. He served us but was not attentive and simply dropped off the drinks, plates, silverware and then meals. Like no putting the 4 plates in front of each of us. Just leaving everything and then walked away. Then it was 905pm and we were wrapping up but kept getting dirty looks from the man and woman. Eventually they switched off the Open sign; guess it was our cue to leave so they could close.

Again, food was delicious and spice if you like it! But maybe next time will do take out instead. Picture are: veggie spring rolls, beef fried rice, cashew chicken and a stir fry.

S&S Thai:

This is my GO TO Thai restaurant while on Oahu. Its located in Kapolei, a little far from my home but worth the drive.

I prefer to get the Tofu Fried Rice, Larb, Nam Pork Fried Rice, Papaya Salad and Long Rice Noodle. They are shareable portions or for someone with a strong appetite.

Occasionally I will opt for the Green Curry with sticky rice. It is very balanced in flavor and richness.

Prices vary between $10.00 and $21.00 for their specials.

The flavors are pronounced. Not too overwhelming and everything is fresh.

They have a spice rating system between 0 (not spicy) to 5 (very spicy). I generally average around a 2 - 3 depending on the day.

This location is new they used to have a stall in Shirokiya and in Waikiki. But relocated to Ka Makana Ali’i. The aesthetic is simple yet nice.

If dining in is not your thing (I understand covid got me like that) they do allow phone orders for pick up. OR for you techy people they subscribe to I believe BiteSquad and UberEats.

Without actually have visited Thailand I think this is a great option for Thai food. I have yet to be disappointed.

Yum yum yum....

This below the ground somewhat hidden Thai/Laotian restaurant in the shadow of HHV (Hilton Hawaiian Village) is definitely a gem if you are hankering for some spicy Thai food. Especially between 2-5pm it's even better deal cause there's a 20% discount.

The operators are Laotian which is similar to Thai food but heavier in taste which I like.

Tried their papaya salad and Larb ( minced meat salad). Both fresh and great. Spice level #3 is just right spicy level (#1 sriracha is like ketchup to me) without killing the taste buds.

With sticky rice whole bill for happy hour special was around $20. Fantastic deal for Waikiki.

Drunken noodles and Thai fried rice were absolutely delicious. I had them at level 3 and 4 out of 5 spice levels yet still not very spicy to me. The Panang curry tasted like it's 80% peanut butter and 20% other ingredients. Only thing i didnt really care for.

My gf and I both got the pad thai, I had chicken and she had veggie.. I thought it was delicious at spicy level 1, but she got no spice and she thought it was too salty. Overall good balance of ingredients and noodles with a good portion size. Only 1 server so the service was a bit slow, but the food was good.

Service was so so, we sat in the back and the server kind of forgot about us. We ordered some food for our children and it came out really quickly but then our order took maybe 30 minutes to arrive. In the menu it is very specific about their level of heat when it comes to spice is different than what we would expect in the states so I was a bit cautious and ordered a level 1, with additional sauce on the side. If you came out and it was not really spicy at all, and they forgot my side of extra spicy sauce. Overall it was so-so...

I am a spice lover. Like I am obsessed.
I am here on a vacation for a week and my palette was craving Rice, spice and anything Asian.

I asked the lady for ‘5’ level spice for my fried rice and the vegetable stir fry was ‘3’ level spicy.
We even had the spring rolls.

The food is delicious. I may not be an expert in Thai/Lao food but I eat a lot of Asian food. This place is so good. SO GOOD for real.

The lady even offered me their in house chilli oil which blew my mind. It was like a flavor bomb in my mouth. The veggies in the stir fry were crunchy and again so tasty.

I can’t emphasise more that the food is delicious, service is great. They give home style food.
I forgot to take the pictures of the fried rice and stir fry.
P.S- everything was so fresh.

“No MSG” triggered us to go to this Thai restaurant in Kapolei kamakanaalii

Since we had a lunch at Koolina we decided to do the takeout . Excellent Thai beef salad with tender beef, Chicken phad Thai and morning glory (Ong Choi)

The food was really good! Price is slightly cheaper and tastier in our opinion compared to town. I wish they were in Honolulu ..
