I was passing by on my way to Indiana and I saw Shrimp Xpress and decided to stop by. The fried shrimp came in a paper bag with a tray and they were fresh, hot and delicious! They came with a nice tangy sauce, and I ordered a drink. My shrimp were great the texture was nice and they were not fried too hard and it had a nice batter. What you see photos of is one pound of delicious shrimp. It is an outdated drive thru, and you are ready to quickly pull out once you get your order. The staff was nice and friendly and my order was prepared in a reasonable amount of time. The reason for my 3 stars is because of the time it took them to acknowledge me when I arrived to the speaker. The reason for my rating of the atmosphere was just the layout of the drive thru.

Shrimps were awful don’t waste your time and money. $17.99 a pound we got 3 pounds $61.00. ALL BREAD !!! Not worth it. Go to Bob’s like I should’ve went.

First time here. Shrimp were nice and crispy. Ordered 1 lb large. They were big. It's definitely worth a try. I wish they had cocktail sauce though. They only have mild or hot sauce

No longer the best shrimp in the South Suburban area. Different than Shrimp Express. Shrimp used to be sweet and fresh. Just picked up my order. I'm disappointed. Couldn't tell the catfish filet from the perch without tasting it first. Though the shrimp are huge, they don't taste the same. Won't be back 😌.

I last visited this place when they only accepted cash so yes, it's been years since my last visit. The only upside to my recent visit was being able to use my debit card. I ordered 2lb of jumbo 🍤 and a pound of "catfish," and they know they're not selling catfish but swai because I've eaten enough catfish in my life to know the difference.

People wake up and stop settling. THEY (the non-black Americans) always try to get over on US (black Americans), and we've been allowing it and continue to allow it. We have enough buying/spending power to have our own and provide quality food to the community. Unless you're jones'n and/or desperate for some seafood, stay away. They don't even have scallops anymore, and the menu is thin, to say the least.

Great shrimp, customer service is ok... pleasant enough..... but there is nowhere to sit while waiting for your order AND If you go through the drive-through, you can not pay electronically you must come in and that's inconvenient. The other negative is that you cannot order half pound of jumbo it must be a full pound.
