Fantástico lugar para acampar. Hay baños seco. El área para acampar es muy amplia. Hay mesas, asador. Es una zona abierta por lo que dependiendo de la época del año podría haber mucho viento.

Smooth gravel road in. Loop road, good for any size rig. $6/night, $3 with senior/access pass. Self check-in station with info on the area. Only a handful of other campers here currently. Tent and RV camping are separated but plenty of spots for both. Beautiful desert plants and neat walking paths to explore. Sign says bear, mountain lion, javalina, etc. So be aware. Fairly quiet here with some light highway noise/oil drilling. There are a few small (& clean) bathrooms with pit toilets. No hookups, no water. Cool planes flying nearby & camp has a memorial area for a plane crash. Walked a long way down to the water, what a hike! Also checked out the boat ramp (pic included)

Had the place almost to ourselves and had a blast. In the area we saw a black bear, a fox, an armadillo, deer, a tarantula, lots of birds, goats, and a few cats. This is boondocking and it was hot, so we parked under a tree. A cardinal tapped on the window trying to attack his reflection 🧐, that was a first for us. Lake was super low when we visited, so water was a drive to kind of thing.

Lovely, quiet campground. The weather was perfect. No moon, slight breeze, in the 70s at night in July. No one else was there, had the place to ourselves. Its a self pay site, no water or electricity. Don't expect to see the lake from there either, but the sunset was amazing and the stars were fantastic.

Stayed here for 4 days. Nice and quiet place to relax. No hookups, but water and dump station were 7 miles away. This is the only campground that is big rig friendly. Stayed here in a 43' toy hauler.

This is a nice little place to stop for an overnight or few days. $6 a night for spots parallel to the campground loop road with a picnic table and a trash bear box. There is no water or electricity and only pit toilets. We just stayed overnight but it was perfect for that. Dusty and there were frequently generators running and very basic so not more stars but great for what it is.

Good campground for boondocking. Sites well spaced and reasonably level. Clean pit toilets. 8 miles to Del Rio, 3 miles to lake.

Clean park with super clean vault toilet outhouses. No other services. Came mid November and it was very quiet. They have covered picnic tables and BBQ stands. Park Wardens come by frequently which makes it safe. No access to the lake as far as I can tell. About 8 miles to Del Rio which has everything.
