I have been a customer and frequent player of Magic The Gathering at Rudy’s Phenomenal Games for almost a year. Unfortunately, my most recent transaction with RPG has left me frustrated. I agreed with the store owner on February 21, 2024 to purchase two decks, with the total price after fees and taxes coming to $3,000. On that same date we also agreed that the cards would be ready by July 15, 2024. On February 26, 2024 I had paid the full amount for the transaction. On March 5, 2024 I was given some of the cards for one of the decks I had ordered. However, these cards did not display the specific art that we had agreed upon. To this point, I have not received any more of the cards necessary to complete the two decks that I ordered. I was even willing to accept delivery of the cards after the July 15, 2024 deadline if the owner had been willing to communicate with me about the process, but he gave no substantial updates. I have offered to return the cards that I was furnished in exchange for the return of my money. The owner has only offered store credit. I understand that the store credit solution benefits the business, but as part of this transaction I also included an extra $500 to cover any additional fees that might arise and as a show of good will and appreciation for a store that, prior to this transaction, I was quite fond of. I am not interested in store credit at this time, and that was never part of our original agreement. I simply want to return the cards that were furnished to me in return for the $3,000 I have paid in good faith. I’m not even interested in recouping the extra $500 that I included. I am writing this review not to belittle or insult anyone, but I feel that I have been wronged and the owner has the ability to make it right. I hope the owner takes this review seriously and reconsiders my offer to return the cards in exchange for my $3,000. Based off of this situation, I’d caution any future customers of this store to be consider other local options before making any purchases.

Cash only. Cashier seemed quite rude. Didn't even bother to stop playing his game to help us. I won't be going back again.

Just went in. Again cashier didn't stop playing. Didn't want to even bother with "customer service"
I wanted to buy the foundations cause it was on the shelf. Only to be told I have to come back tomorrow... I get that it's not out yet just don't have it on your shelf for sale.. I mentioned that this is the 2nd time I've been let down by the service...
Cashier was more than rude as I walked out.
Never Never coming back into this shop!

Patrons and the owner will drink (alcohol) during operational hours in the store. If you aren’t apart of the “in crowd” you’re treated poorly by staff. Owner takes it VERY personally when you shop at other stores in the city.
Most expensive in town.
Best thing about the shop is the clientele.

Rudy's Phenomenal Games is an awesome place for all things games! There is also an arcade to play. Rudy is a Phenomenal store proprietor. He welcomed me to his store and was helpful in answering all my questions on finding what I wanted and giving me options to expand my collection. This is now my store of choice for TCGs, and board games. Thank you Rudy for being so Phenomenal!

Have been coming here for a few months now and really enjoy the environment and community. Rudy is a great person. I recommend RPG for your boardgame and TCG needs. I have attended for multiple prerelease events as well and it is always fun.

Where people who are drinkers go to bars table top gamers/tcg player game at Rudy's, now closer to my home I bike here sometimes with my son he learned to play magic and he loves to play the video games available while I warhammer 🙂

Came to this LGS while I was doing out of town work to relax in my evenings and it was the best decision. The owner and other customers are always super friendly and welcoming and they were even willing to stay later than the close time to finish up a commander game! I even walked for 40 minutes from my hotel just to go to this store over the one much closer at a 10 minute walk. I wish I had an LGS this good nearby me. If I'm ever in the area again my choice is DEFINITELY going to be Rudy's!

Speaking from a player standpoint I am amazed by the community at RPG. From the players to the atmosphere I haven’t experienced negative vibes or feel bad moments in any form. Not that I am special by any means but I have played Magic in over 12 countries at this point and the level of energy in the community and the way that the players take care of each other is unmatched anywhere else I have played.

Speaking from a customer standpoint, the selection at this shop is amazing! The prices are top notch and the profits are put back into the community which is amazing as well.

This is how a Card store should be ran! I will be coming here any time I am traveling through Yuma.
