Wall paper peeling from the walls and building in general kinda of outdated but clean for what the staff could do. Got the salad and soup and an appetizer. After an hour of waiting and 4 plates each, no appetizer, 2 plates in we got our soup, which was ICE COLD, and was brought by the bar tender. It's weird that we hadn't seen our waitress since she took our order. And brought out our drinks. Mind you, the whole time we are eating, you could hear cackling and laughing in the back of the restraunt(kitchen. We were seated all the way in the back. I'm all for having a good time at work, but if you have 3/4 waiters. And 5 tables my food shouldn't be sitting in the window long enough to cool down. Cheese was melted on top of soup, so it was at least hot enough for that when put up in the window. Then after we waited for a refill or a check. I had to retrieve it from the bar tender as I had not seen my waitress, and then suddenly, as soon as we complained, here comes our appetizer an hour later. I have never been to a ruby teusday. My husband recommended this one, specifically having fond memories of this location. Only for me to have decided and him as well that we will probably never eat here again because one. Either our waitress was slacking off or the food was not being heated to safe food standards. There was a few servers who were really busting their behinds to get their tables done and seeing their tables be server their apps and meals before we even got our appetizer was very disappointing.

Reading some recent reviews it sounds like this restaurant has an issue with staffing. One or more of the staff is not willing to do their assigned job and it seems to be whoever is assigned the larger tables or the main dining area.

We were brought in just fine by the host and seated well enough. We were told 10 minutes later that our server was busy with something and that he would get our drinks. Fine, whatever. We wait an additional 15 minutes to order our food. We all order our food and what struck us all as odd was that she didn't write down any of our orders. Some servers have great memory and don't need it, I get that. That was not the case here.

Things started to go awry from here. My wife ordered a beer and they brought her 2 by accident; we were not charged for the duplicate, thankfully. My roommates both ordered steaks which were overcooked and undercooked respectively. My wife ordered catfish and shrimp and only got the catfish. I ordered a burger and tots and didn't get the tots. The only person whose order wasn't screwed up was my son. We were told by our server that the shrimp were still cooking and that she would get me a side of tots. The shrimp and the tots both came out at the same time, both nuclear hot as if they had just come out of the fryer. The tots also tasted of old dirty fryer oil and after eating only a few of them I knew I would get sick, so I didn't finish them (I did end up getting sick and spent a large portion of the evening in the bathroom). Another of my party with the overcooked steak we believe has food poisoning. We cannot prove anything but we believe the steak was overcooked to hell and back to hide that it was not as fresh as it should've been. Again, cannot prove anything but it seems plausible.

So orders put in wrong, brought out wrong, cooked wrong, and then lied to to save face. Not good. We saw our server once during our meal and that was when she was delivering food. We waited for 30 minutes after finishing our meal for her to come by and one of our party had to go to the bartender to get our check printed so we could go pay and go home.

This restaurant used to be a great place to just get a nice meal with the family but it seems to really have gone downhill in recent years, which is really saddening.

Dated, dim lit with booth seats that haven't been replaced since the 80's. The staff puts on the facade that they want to work there but you can see their souls being sucked out of them if you can manage to catch some light from the bulbs that they have lit so low you might as well walk in with night vision on. Steak that tastes like fish, fish that tastes like how the everglades smell... the saving grace of ruby Tuesdays is the salad bar. Now... if they'd only just add some kind of chicken.

Went here yesterday for lunch, was in the area and didn't want to do fast food. Surprisingly, they have a Tuesday special of a burger and fries for $6.99 (fast food price). The service was fine, friendly and efficient. The food was good, and the wait was not long. The atmosphere was fine as well. BUT...ever damn surface in this place was sticky...the table edges, the salt & pepper shakers, the ketchup bottle, the booth seat, the push bar on the door to exit, the bathroom door, the stall door in the bathroom, the bathroom faucet. Even the floor had areas of stickiness. The entire place needs to be wiped down thoroughly. As someone who may be a bit texture sensitive, it was very off putting. I washed my hands in the bathroom, got all the sticky off, then went to leave the bathroom only to encounter a sticky door..and again at the table. I would sure enjoy the food at another RT, but could not go back to this location unless it was thoroughly cleaned. And just to mention...it wasn't very busy..so there was no reason to not have some cleaning done.

My server’s name was Brooke. She was warm & friendly & went the extra mile to be sure our needs were met. Brooke has excellent communication skills & a great personality! I will back to your restaurant because Brooke did such a fine job!

This place is my personal “Cheers” experience (I guess I’m telling my age). I love the food and the people. The service is great and it’s like eating at my home away from home. Even when I order take out, I end up dining in. And then there’s the mouthwatering dessert menu………. I’ll save that for its own review!

My friend and I went on a Friday evening. I expected the place to be packed but it was not. Not sure why because the service was great, we enjoyed the ample salad bar and fixings, the food was up quick, our selections (there were many great choices to chose from) arrived to the table hot and perfectly done, and the bill for all of it was quite reasonable. Big thumbs up!
