Busy Saturday, Noisy and but warm atmosphere. Not the place for a quiet conversation when as busy. Food quality was excellent, portions slightly on small side, premium pricing. Steaks were an excellent cut. Even though food delivery was reasonable the steaks were served Luke warm.

Service was lacking. Pleasant, but slow to arrive at table, and much slower to deliver check. Needed to ask another server for check ( waited nearly 20 minutes after eating). Buss person asked to take plate, and also took unfinished sides my guest was eating.

From a one-time experience my overall take away is the place has a great kitchen, but is lacking in employee performance. At the price charged I might go back of bar food or appetizers but most likely not for a full dinner.

Wonderful quiet spot for a Tuesday lunch in Guilford,Guildford is lucky to have a quality lunch spot like prime! Cool to touch bar top that kept my double d niced and chilled as we enjoyed the lunch pricing for some delicate calamari with the cherry pepper zest you just gotta love.... My mom had the fixed prix lunch steak option with a colorful inviting vegetable medley and well barked medium rare sirloin delicately sliced and presented. We ended with espresso macchiato served by our bartender with the mostest Heidi, thank you so much for a wonderful lunch we were in excellent hands!

Staff AWESOME, FRIENDLY.
FOOD was beyond delicious

a bit on the overly concerned about the furniture and decor, but food and service (what really matters) were great.

the french onion soup was super photogenic but hard to get the cheese back into the pot.

great place to impress your date (if he/she is into that and you saved enough).

Fabulous service by Jacquelyn and Mario!
We have been here several times and the food, drinks and service never disappoint!
Make sure you make reservations! We tried to add 2 more for dinner with us last time and they couldn’t slide them in with us!
The steaks are absolutely out of this world! They are the best in CT! Think of Ruth Chris and Crown grill without the drive!
They are very accommodating with food allergies and also my husband and I split the wedge salad and they chipped it for us and it was magnificent!
Love the Big E baked potato!
If you are not very hungry or want something. Little less pricey go for the Fabulous Steak tips and mashed potatoes or the bento box meal that comes with rice and vegetables or the burgers!
The steaks all the sides are separate but pretty big to share so getting a variety is great!
Love the drinks. My favorites are mommy’s time out, lindoo, Paloma with passion fruit, dessert martini and the beer selection is great!
Oh they have a lunch menu too!

Onion soup and Bacon on a Wire! Excellent meal with exceptional service! The best onion soup I've ever had. Usually, the soup is a delivery mechanism for the cheese. This would have been great without the cheese. Pigs on a Wire is thick, house cured hickory slab bacon glazed in bourbon barrel aged maple syrup. Arrives on a wooden stand with pipes connected by a wire. The bacon is hung from the wire with a sprig of smouldering rosemary beneath it. Amazing presentation. We had a NY strip and a filet with shrimp. Both were cooked perfectly. The side of brussel sprouts had bacon, shallots, maple syrup and Dijon on them. Just fantastic. We will be back every time we visit Guilford.

Went on a Saturday night- definitely recommend making a reservation. We sat outside which was more quiet than inside. Food was delicious. I got the Benihana who? Filet and it was melt in your mouth amazing. Husband got the pork chop and it was so thick and moist. Food was on the pricier side but worth it in our opinion. We got the crème brûlée and the chocolate chip lava cake for dessert. The lava cake was HUGE- but very yummy. Staff was very friendly.
