My niece participated at a theater performance this past weekend, the Lion King and it was held at the Prairie Lake Community Center. The place is nice and has a good seating area. The stage is also very nice as well as the lighting and the sound.

The premises are lovely. Staff was friendly and helpful. They seem to have so many wonderful things for families to partake in. I love the children's art shown around the premises. When my kids get a bit older, I will enroll them for some wonderful memories like the ones I have from my childhood.

I just wanted to send a special thank you to the guys who didn’t let a water main break rain on our parade!! They were so professional and helpful. Even while dealing with their own crisis, they were able to address my situation calmly and help me find a resolution so that we could still celebrate my son’s 16th birthday! Thank you so much for everything and I can’t wait to plan my next event with DP Park District!!!

Great place, but please stop airing WLS RADIO: same dreary, worn out, repetitive music list. This is serious! Note: if you’re in the whirlpool, it’s almost inaudible.

We visited to attend our daughter’s dance concert. I was quite surprised to find such an upscale theatre in a “community” center. Great lighting. Comfortable seating. Not a huge theatre but definitely more than adequate for our needs. Helped make the show all the more magical.

Very clean. New indoor lap pool and splash pad. (Very affordable!!!!) They have spread out the workout equipment for social distancing very nicely. PLENTY of different classes available for all ages and everyone in the family...everything from cooking to spinning!
