Our first visit to Pogolino's FESTUS location. We were seated immediately and asked what we would like to drink. When the drinks arrived our food order was taken. Small salads were exceptionally good and very large. One small salad is probably plenty to share between two people. I noticed patrons sharing. Pizza has a thin crust with generous topping portions. Would return again.

Kara was our server. She is awesome. We’ve been searching for a good pizza restaurant. Can’t find one we like in our own community. So we drove 20 minutes for pizza. Excellent. We read one view where people complained about the atmosphere. What kind of atmosphere do you expect from a pizza restaurant? We feel the atmosphere is very comfortable. Our food was good and our service was fantastic. When you come, make sure to ask to sit in Kara’s section. We had pepperoni and black olive and four cheese pizza and both sides of the pie were excellent.

My family dined in and this was our first time ever being there. We went there for my daughter’s birthday. With being new to the area we thought why not try some new restaurants. Our server was great and very attentive and compliments to the chef for the great food. As for the hostesses they really need to be trained a little better. I understand everyone has their bad nights at work or sometimes you just want to get to leave when you close, I get that but I was trying to have a wonderful evening celebrating my daughters birthday since I just got done working nine days in a row. When you seat big parties over 20 you don’t keep sitting smaller parties until you have it figured out as a plan for that big party. I was there before other customers and no matter how big a party is other people don’t get seated first. I understand you don’t take reservations but the fact I called when you guys open to let you be aware there will be a party of 22 at 6:30 you think that you would prepare and not miss out on that money opportunity. You were not oblivious to the situation. That being said you should really work on customer service in that area and the hostess need to work on a better strategy for seating instead of feeling flustered. I’ve been in food service for 12 years and I was very disappointed of how long I had to wait when I called ahead of time. If I knew all of your names they would be definitely on this review. The one hostess Alyssa seemed very irritated. When you come to work you leave your frustrations at the door you don’t bring it with you to work.

Wow, can’t say enough about how good their pizza is. My kids absolutely loved it too and now say we can’t go anywhere else. Worth the drive and will definitely be back as we are all now craving it again!

We ordered carry out last week. We were extremely disappointed with the lack of toppings on our pizzas. For the price we paid it was a huge disappointment. I went in the next day to get my debit card that I had left when I paid. I asked to speak to a manger. When I expressed our disappointment to him, he didn’t apologize but just said that they weigh their toppings and the kitchen must’ve not weighed them properly. No offer of a discount or any type of compensation for our lack of toppings or disappointment. Anywhere else I’ve gone if we’re not satisfied some type of compensation is offered. We will not be ordering from them for a while. For the cost we will take our business elsewhere.

I would rate this place 100 stars if i could. Really fast service and also fabulous pizza. Ive worked at imos for almost 5 years and i know when i see good workers. Usually get the perfect crisp on my pizza no matter what. Only one time out of the 30 there was a mess up, they accidentally thought i meant hamburger pizza instead of just hamburger. Fyi hamburger pizza comes with mustard! So be aware of that its hard to hear on those phones! No their fault at all that’s probably a popular pizza, ate it anyways.
