A friend and I drove from Catoosa County today and tried this place for the first time. We were amazed at the quality of the food and the portions were huge. I ordered the chicken tenders, broccoli salad, fried okra, hashbrown casserole, and Mexican cornbread. Hands down the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Even the honey mustard and ranch sauces were delicious, and definitely tasted homemade. The guy with the drink cart was on point and kept our drinks full. We will be back for sure!

So good I tore into my leftovers as soon as I got home. A+++

We eat there at least once a week and enjoy the fresh cooked food! The service is very good and the staff are nice and helpful. The Coconut, pineapple cake is so very good. But in the last few weeks something has changed with the cake . Either I’m very unlucky and I’m consistently getting the slice with the least amount of icing per cake piece. Usually I get a nice big slice with a layer of icing on each layer of cake almost as thick as the cake layers themselves. For the last 3 times I’ve not received that at all. The icing has been very thin. I hope they have changed it, it’s amazing!

The first visit was great. The second visit, I paid cash and was not given a receipt. When I went back with concern, the people who just a few minutes earlier waited on me acted as if they never saw me, and would not make my order right without a receipt. I tried to explain I did not get one. Then I was asked to leave. Guess they pocketed money for pitiful food.

We had a Dr visit and I googled a place to eat. This popped up and was a few minutes from where we were. It's been a minute since I took a tray and went down the line, picking out my meal, but I did it! It was good and budget friendly to boot. They had an employee who worked the dining room, getting you refills, go boxes, etc. We really enjoyed it. NOTE-We have to go back next week for tests. I think we're going to try that chicken!! I've been reading reviews, and they all love the chicken. Ty!!

This place is Amazing if you love homemade southern cooking and like a variety this is the place. The service was excellent, very friendly and ready to get anything you need, the place is very clean and very pleasant. I can't wait to eat there again!

First time going 🙂 I ordered what I thought was fried chicken (I just kinda pointed and said "that one please") and turns out it was a fried pork chop. I HATE PORK fyi..... this, I LOVED! Omg absolutely delicious, I ate every bit of it, home run!!
Asked for what looked like candied yams, turns out it was some kind of carrot soufflé... OMG home run #2!!!!
I mean, really I'm doing quite horrible at this point with having any idea of what I'm actually ordering ? But it's all amazing!
Dressing and Gravy is really good, no weird chunks of stuff. Sweet tea is good also.

*on a slight negative note, one of the ladies behind the food counter was kind of rude and very dismissive to the elderly lady in front of me. She wasn't overly pleasant to me either, you could tell she had absolutely NO desire to be there, but everyone else was friendly including the man working the drink section

We are almost daily customers of Pick-A-Deli and the selection of entrees and available side dishes are always top notch. Plenty of delicious desserts. The real charm is the staff the pleasantry of Judy and Hunter on the service line and James in the dining area make you feel as a very valued customer. The owners are very involved in the quality of service of the meals. Friendly, Family and Professional place in Rome, Ga. Thank you for your service to our community!
