This is an excellent park, lots of green space, paths to follow and a couple of play parks for kids. Plus two fun cycling tracks near the viaduct bridge. There's a few different sections to the park with plenty of open grassland to sit on and benches too. The cemetery next to it is also great to wander with really interesting old graves and information signs that help you find graves of historic interest. (The cemetery is actually tidier than the park.)

The only negative to the park is there are no public toilets which is a real disappointment as it's a great park to picnic and spend the day. The council really needs to open public toilets to make the park fully accessible to all people. It's a shame with the Etihad and Co-op Live next to it that some investment wasn't put into this park too, it needs a refresh and toilets!!

This park is about a 30 minute walk along the canal from New Islington (lovely, easy walk) or you can take the tram from Manchester and get off at The Ethiad, the park is 5 minutes from there.

Great place near Etihad and Asda. Plenty of walking trails, trees, pond, play grounds. There is lovely place for skating too. Worth to take kids for walk. This place is dog friendly. I seen a lot of birds and squirrels there.

Very lovely park to go to, whether it's for walking around or running. I've been here so many times I've lost count. Philips Park certainly is very spacious and is being kept in a very nice condition.

More excellent views and relaxation.
Every Saturday, Philips Park has a running event at 9:00 a.m.
Good for running!!! (2:1:1, Flat, Uphill, Downhill ?)

A lovely dated park within a developed area, hopefully some preservation to the park will be carried out to improve the paths and bring the views back to what they should be, still a lovely place to spend some time though

I liked this park as it was well enclosed which is useful when you have a toddler with no road safety awareness. It's really big with a lot of activities
