This place was awesome, the food was really bountiful. Their menu was huge and ranged from Chinese to French.. lots of things offered here including some super interesting pastries and individually wrapped cakes on the display shelves leading up to the register.

There is a self serve kiosk as well as a counter to place an order. We got one of the individually wrapped Japanese breads/cakes, a boba drink, and a layered cream crepe cake.

The atmosphere was not cozy, to say the least. But cool spot for the Loop!
Well done

First time in the shop and it took a few minutes for anyone to greet me. Seems they were pre-occupied with cleaning up for the night.

Ordered: limoncello cake slice

Pro:
-the cake is refreshing and light

Con:
-not a strong lemon flavor. It’s present but light. The cake appears to be vanilla and the lemon flavor is from the toppings.

-the size of the slice compared to the price isn’t worth it. Paid $7.50 before tax but I don’t think it’s worth more than $3.50.

Overall, gave a 3 star rating for the size/price of the cake slice. I was hoping the taste would make it not matter.

I went to this restaurant because I love Banh Mi. First of all the sandwiches were about 10 bucks which is pretty expensive for freaking banh mi, lol welcome to 2025.

Ordered two sandwiches. One was a special combination and the other was grill pork. I also ordered a lychee flavored black tea.

I've eaten thousands of banh mi sandwiches in my life and what stood out about these sandwiches are that both of them had Chinese five-spice on it. I don't hate Chinese five spice but it definitely does not go on everything in Asia.

The special combination sandwich was very bland and the bread tasted like typical sandwich bread from a grocery store. Hard to believe this place is an actual bakery. Typically the baguette is made with wheat and rice flour ...creating a thin crunchy exterior and a chewy interior.

The grilled pork sandwich did not taste grilled at all. Very disappointing.

The only good thing was the lychee tea.

This place was disappointing. Did not feel authentic Vietnamese at all.

Came in because I wanted to try the Korean corn dog, and I had heard this place had them here. Overall, it’s decent.

WAIT TIME: It’s a fast food type locale so no wait time. Place your order at kiosk or counter and sit wherever.

FOOD: I got the half mozzarella half meat potatoes covered corn dog. It was what I expected it to be - a very fried yummy snack that left me pretty full. Nothing too special about it but it was what I was looking for.

SERVICE: I did the self service kiosk. Was easy to order from.

AMBIANCE: The music was nice and relaxing, giving cafe vibes. The tables were just like a fast food ambiance.

PRICE: Corn dog was around $6. Reasonable for what I got.

I had an amazing experience during the soft opening. Immediately as I step into the building the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement.
The menu was beautifully and simply displayed on screens for all to view, the music reminded me of Paris which was a great detail to the restaurant.

Service was extremely friendly, you can tell the employees have customer service experience. Even when the tickets were increasing and the line was out the door, everyone remained level-headed and worked efficiently.

All-in-all the special Banh mi I ordered was fantastic. The bread was soft and fresh. There was a perfect amount of crunch and softness to the bread. The pickled veggies were my favorite, always adding a freshness to the sandwich. The meat is exactly how I remember it from childhood, generous, delicious and filling. I wish I took a picture of my Banh mi but it looked so good I ate it all before I had the thought of taking a photo.

If you’re visiting Delmar Loop in st.Louis Missouri, this is a great place for lunch with friends or your significant other. Grab a table and have a cute and relaxing Banh mi in paradise!

We ordered Banh Mi Dac Biet and couple of coffee drinks. I liked the filling a lot, but the bread (banh mi) was way too hard. I did ask to warm banh mi and ate right away. I wasn’t sure if they just had a bad batch today or what happened. I will probably gonna give it another try. Their coffee drinks were pretty good. Decent price and nice service.

I had the chicken banh mi, vegetarian banh mi, and combination. Vegetarian was actually delicious. Chicken was my least favorite. For some reason it reminded me of spam. I had multiple bobas and teas and the taro Boba and peach black tea were delicious. I am not a tea or Boba drinker so that is huge. I love that there are self checkout kiosks! A nice place to try something new (or familiar).

Got the grilled pork bahn mi - it was good but wish there was more flavor in the pickled vegetables and sauce; it was slightly too dry for me. Also got the ramen corn dog - good but wish it was crunchier. The atmosphere is nice and service was wonderful!
