Such a great place to visit and see, want to come back for sure. Big Jim, Dawn and Dylan served us great hamburgers and was fun to see the history of the area on the walls. Loved the scratch post, although no clue how to use it ?
They were getting ready for a wedding and I am sure it will be a great venue for one.
Will definitely be back again

This is a fabulous living history museum. It is like going back in time. The buildings and furnishings are authentic. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to assist. The Guided Tours are very interesting and informative. It is truly a pleasure to visit. I have been there many times over the years. Each visit is a memorable experience.

We got there an hour early. Great idea. Paid $5 each to enter. Quaint old colonial/pioneer, type village. Did not stay long because it was cold out. Left before 7pm.
There was some homemade food. Soup to die for! In a cauldron, outside over a wood fire. Hot chocolate. One home had homemade biscuits and sausage. A novelty store there, too.
We left before the carolling because of the cold weather.

The staff was super nice. Unfortunately we didn't have time to do a guided tour, it was a rainy monday and so most of the buildings were closed. We walked the site and will plan to return some day when they have a black smith and others in the buildings.

This is an awesome fun outing . We was here for Keepers of the old ways event. Lots of great knowledge shared. The buildings are all in good shape now. Love the fact that the log cabins are mostly staffed by family relationship. Lots of pride & care given. So worth the visit.

I love this place! I have been coming every chance I get since it opened. I have brought my kids, and now my grandkids. They love the classes in the old ways, the stories of the old days, and just the peaceful beauty of the Settlement.
