We are new to the area and have been in a couple times but will not be returning after today
I ordered the Chuck Wagon w crispy hash browns
received burnt greasy hash browns and basically a cheese omelette I couldn’t even finish 2/3 of it due to the amount of burn n grease. To not waste the almost $15 I took the food home for my son who couldn’t stomach it either
My fience ordered the tacos on flour and the hash browns were just as terrible; soupy soggy chicken covered by sliced cheese w greased corn tortillas not to mention waiting 20 mins for no refill and not even the salsa or hot sauce could help make it palatable $16 barely stomached
After addressing it w our waitress (Who was apparently the only one actually working) we got a military discount (10%) laughable and insulting
This was written after upchucking the chuck wagon and the greased hash blacks

Embarrass us ?
It was plenty embarrassing trying to explain how we disliked the $40 meal. It was also embarrassing to vomit said meal, knowing we only tried to splurge on ourselves at an establishment we had previously visited and enjoyed

I had such a wonderful first time experience here!!! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and he promptly sat us at a booth. Our waitress was super sweet, kept our coffees full and checked on us throughout our meal. The food was sooooo good!!! Fresh hashbrowns for the WIN!!! 🙌 I also observed that there was a man that would clear off and clean the tables as soon as customers left and also swept. Dude was busting his butt and making sure everything was clean enough for the next set of customers. Not gonna lie, that was one thing I noticed when I first sat down was how clean the table was. I also loved that the table was covered in advertisements. Hands down one of the BEST breakfast spots I have ever been too!!! I really hope the owner/owners know how great their staff is and appreciates them. Great job 👏🏻👍

The food is fresh and fabulous the service is top notch and friendly. I always come in and ask for Christina who remembers my order and drink if I change she will be shocked. On the weekends it is busy and expect a wait. You know it’s good when there is a wait

The waitresses at this location have the best sense of humor and great service skills. Food is quite delicious and ample portion sizes even for the hungry goer. Ambiance is great and the train theme is integrated fully throughout the restaurant. Would definitely recommend and be going again soon.

Went to Whistle stop for the first time. Everyone is very lovely BUT the waitress. No smile, very rude, we felt very rushed. The person welcoming us was great! Gave my child a lollipop. Food was okay. Service is fast which I appreciate but the waitress is ruining the whole experience which was sad. Not sure we will be back.

The food was adequately delicious although the corned beef tasted old and was a little tough. Both of us were sick to our stomach after wards. Our waitress, although pleasant was very forgetful, forgetting utensils, take away boxes, dressing, etc.. I think she needed a day off
