I recently stopped by Ned's, and had a solid dining experience. The diner is very clean and well-kept, which is always a great first impression. Everything felt neat and tidy, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.

The service was quite quick, even during a busy time, which I appreciated. The large menu offers a wide variety of options, so there’s something for everyone, whether you're craving breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

I decided to try the Turkey Bacon Club with fries, and it was a good choice. The sandwich was packed with a generous amount of turkey and crispy bacon, and the fries were tasty and nicely seasoned. For the portion size and quality, I’d say it was a good value for the money.

Overall, Ned's Diner is a great spot for a quick, casual meal with a lot of choices. While there’s always room for improvement, I had a good experience and would definitely consider coming back!

We stopped at Ned's Diner for breakfast on our way to Madison WI. on a recommendation from a friend from Rockford. I do not know if I would have ever found this place. The staff worked together from the moment we walked in. We got seated immediately, and someone got us drinks. Our waitress came by shortly and asked if we were ready. I ordered the 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, and 2 sausages. My dining companions got the cinnamon French toast with a side of bacon and a mushroom and cheese omelet. The bacon was thick cut and crispy. The pancakes were flufy, savory, and sweet all at once. The omelet was buttery and large. We could have taken half home. Ned's also has a signature hot sauce at each table. I'm not big on hot sauces because I can not handle spicy food; used sparingly, it added a nice kick. It is available for purchase for $7 a bottle.

The wife had us try some other breakfast joints to see what they had to offer, knowing our favorite spot has always been Ned’s. She soon came to a realization that she wouldn’t eat at any other breakfast place besides Ned’s. The quality of ingredients they use in everything is top tier. Far exceeds competition. They are not buying off the lower shelf, and also finds a way to be very affordable. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Best breakfast restaurant in surrounding Belvidere and Rockford area.

We finally stopped at Ned's to try them out! We had such a great experience that we said let's try again and see if our time there would be a good as the first.

It wasn't, it was even better! The place is clean and well kept, the food was delicious and the service was impeccable. I felt like family or a regular they have known forever. The hot coffee kept coming and smiles were wall to wall.

When we leaving, after I paid, my eyes caught the sweets in the cold case. I looked at my husband and said oh they have baklava wish I caught that sooner. The next thing I know the owner is handing me two free slices to take home and try.

Ned's, thanks for being a gem in my own backyard. We will be back!! In fact, now we have our own booth will request each time.

We came across this gem by accident and so glad that we did.

My daughter's burger was perfectly cooked, and her fries were delicious. While my brunch was an overwhelming size (I finished it).

Service was FANTASTIC...
The food was outstanding!

This was our first visit to Ned's. We were definitely impressed with everything, especially the service. The menu has a great selection of items, and we literally had our meals within a few minutes of ordering. I was ready to revisit the following day. If and when we have family visit, this will definitely be a meal destination!
