Stopped here after a bad experience the day before and was pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious but the people are what really make this place great. So friendly and accommodating. They are the real 5 stars

What a surprise! We were staying in the area and needed breakfast. We like small places why character. We were “at home” here. I expected counter service. However, the personal touch from the staff was spot on.

The decor was great. It is situated in a train station. The old charm was in tact and the staff was very friendly. Even when guests looking for the best train to take to the airport asked for advice. They politely told them they were not train employees and directed them to the appropriate stop where they could get their questions answered.

Oh, and the coffee and food was very good!!

Great little place to grab a good variety of breakfast items and coffee. It has plenty of outdoor seating and also gives you a good view of the train stop as well. So, if you're lucky enough, there might be a train or 2 that passes by!

Had an excellent experience here at the Depot Roasters! Excellent cappuccino. The prices are better than most chain coffee shops and their coffee is excellent.

Staff is very relaxed and helpful. Free WiFi and a great place to relax.

This creative depot conversion offers plenty of comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy their delicious, fresh food.

The California omelet was filled with large chunks of tomatoes and avocado that were refreshing to eat. Likewise, the caboose breakfast plate offered delicious corned beef hash that wasn't over grilled. Both plates came with tasty homefries that were the perfect size and well seasoned.

Wonderful atmosphere. Owner is great and well spoken. Cute cozy location in Mystic at the old train station building converted to a restaurant. Also has an Amtrak kiosk in the location and the train stops here for traveling guests. Highly recommend to all locals and any travelers coming through Mystic. Food and drink will not disappoint. Plus they have latte’s! Full coffee menu. Don’t miss it!

Coffee was very watery/thin. We went in at 8am on Sunday, but couldn’t get a bacon, egg and cheese because the wait would be 25 minutes.
Good muffins though!

We ordered the scrambled eggs with herbs. It was truly inedible. We recieved a plate covered in a sheet of egg, much like an omlette gone wrong. There is a clear difference between scrambled egg and omlette and this certainly did not represent scrambled eggs. It was rubbery and bland. My first bite presented me with an egg shell. For myself, that is the worst experience when eating an egg dish.

We left very disappointed.
