They have a playroom! Packed with toys, legos, a coloring table, and more for the kiddos. Perfect for a roadtrip stop so they can get their wiggles out. The food is great! Try the hash with an egg or two, or get a grilled cheese for the kids (my son loved it so much he ordered another!). The wait staff is amazing. Very cozy and family vibes. Tell Natalie hi! 🩷

We were traveling and decided to look for a non-chain restaurant in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Myrtles fit the bill-- A small town diner where it seemed like everyone knew each other. We ordered pork tenderloin, and were surprised when it was not the pounded super thin and breaded pork tenderloin we're used to in Indiana and Ohio. Instead, it was a thicker slice that appeared to be beer battered and deep fried. Different, but still delicious. The waitress assured me the coleslaw was made fresh that morning, and it was very good. The surroundings were certainly not fancy, but the service was fast and friendly.

We were absolutely blown away by the friendliness of the staff here. We came in for the solar eclipse after a rough few days of travel and I could not be more grateful for the hospitality they showed us. I hope we get to come back to Poplar Bluff one day just to go to Myrtle’s again, but I’m also telling my friends and family to stop here and check out this town if they’re ever nearby. I'm so glad we found this little GEM downtown. Great food. The place was packed we walked in and to my surprise got right to a table fast service and there was three of us and I think the bill was around 33 dollars. You cannot beat that anywhere. Highly recommend it

Delicious food, fast table service and excellent atmosphere! Waitresses gave us their full attention and made sure we had everything we needed the whole visit! Great menu options and restaurant is huge on the inside with lots of seating! Thank you ladies!!

This has got to be the best place I've been to in a long while. The waitress we had was absolutely perfect. One of our youngins dropped his pancakes, and they were quick to comfort him and let him know he wasn't in trouble, and that accidents happen. Prices are better than reasonable. All around five stars. Food was great, waitresses were great. Next time we are back in town, we will be eating here again

I would have eat everything on the menu. The burger was delicious and the French toast are very good too.

I love this place and everyone is very very very kind. You must go over there if you visit this town.
