Clean and simply furnished but very quaint and cozy. Rooms large enough for accessibility to all needs. Large bathrooms too. May be a fishing area but it's near enough to drive to most area attractions and beaches. Doesn't have the extra amenities but we didn't miss the. Nearby restaurants within walking distance were excellent.

The new owners are amazing! They have renovated the rooms, go above and beyond to make this marina awesome. It has a beautiful view and couldn't ask this town for better people. They make you feel like family.

Huge 2 double bed room. Plenty of room. And the bathroom was huge as well. Beds are a little hot, I think because of the mattress protector. But comfortable . Otherwise great place. The rooms are long. You enter your room off the main road. You park in the street out front of your room, or a lot on the side. The rooms have an additional door leading out back to the Marina. Also has ice machine under the stairs of 1 building Would stay again. And recommend if in the area.

Awesome place right on a marina!! Very clean up to date rooms, great view of the marina. A nice gem for the area and within two blocks of several restaurants.

The carpet was a little musty to be honest, but everything else about the room was spotless. The bed was great, firm but not hard, and felt brand new. We both slept really well. Nice view outside the back door.

Why people give this place less than a five is mesmorizing to me. The rooms are large and are all, not only facing the water, but on the water. It is absolutely spotless, which is the most important thing to me. The price is crazy low for just the reasons I stated. Yes, maybe it needs to be updated a little, but any Best Western or any other hotel desperately needs it more than here and charges a lot more. This place is quaint and charming. They do have a new owner, who is very delightful, and is updating it. Seriously, I am a picky b…, and I do not understand why, but others on this site feel differently. This place, anywhere else in the U.S., on the water would cost at least two times of what they charge. For the management, my only complaint is that the pool should be opened until 10:00, at least. I also hope it is heated. Thank you for a delightful stay!!

I really enjoyed my stay at The Moorings! It is under NEW OWNERSHIP and the new owner and staff are very nice! The marina is huge with really nice docks and slips for boats of all sizes. The rooms are great, all with beautiful Marina water views. Nice pool. Beautiful views of sunrise and sunset. I highly recommend The Moorings and look forward to returning! Thank you for a great stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
