I love this facility. It has a lot of daily activities and is well maintained, it is also well equipped with many forms of exercise/fitness gear for all ages. The only negative thing I would say is some parents still think it's acceptable for their children to run around which can be frustrating at times. On that not, it's not the facilities job to be parents.Staff has always been friendly. Kid's will be Kid's. 😎

If you're planning to join the YMCA, exercise caution as they have a tendency to double charge. I obtained a membership on November 8 and paid $21.30, which included a prorated amount of $6.50 for November and $14.80 for December. However, I was charged again on November 15, despite having already paid $21.30 on November 8. Upon noticing this error, I informed them of the double charge, and they subsequently refunded me $14.80. When I visited the facility today to settle my account, I was informed that I still owed payment for December, despite having already paid $21.30. This indicates that I effectively paid $36.10, and even after the refund of $14.80, I still paid $21.30. It is so show that I still pay that amount even with my bank proof that I was still charged 21.30 I am extremely dissatisfied with their handling of this matter, particularly the individual who seems to be struggling with basic arithmetic, namely Margret, who appears to have caused confusion. It seems evident that she lacks understanding of the situation. And that she's wrong.....

This y is a decent place to workout. The only problem is the handycap parking. I see people all the time parking in these places who do not appear handycap and don't have handycap placards or plates. I think the problem is that the markings in these areas aren't marked very well. On the south side of the building the paint is faded and the signage should be placed as so. One sign at each end and one sign in the middle of these two signs that say handycap parking between signs only. When it snows the markings on the ground are covered. Also people are dropping off kids and always parking in the handycap spots. Maybe if you gave parents the parking by the south west door and made more handycap parking on the south lot this would stop. Also if the Moline P.D. would drive through and check once in awhile that would help. I have gone to this y for awhile now and at different times a day and have never seen a Moline squad car in the lot. Please help the handycap Moline y and make your handycap parking better. I have told staff in person and have had no luck so far. Thank you.

I visited Twin Rivers from Saint Louis MO. It is easily the best Y i have ever seen. My only compliant is you have to pay 50c for a towel, no other Y does tha. All the workout machines are new. They have 2 pools, and a jacuzzi in each lockeroom! And of course great customer service. Go check it out!

I had terrible experience talking with one of the employees there. I was just asking questions and a woman named Margret started raising her voice to me. I get that it’s okay to be frustrated but talking to members of the gym in a way that is argumentative and hostile isn’t the way to go about it. Where I work I deal with customers on a daily basis and my motto is kill them with kindness. That is not what happened, Margret was rude in the way she came off and her tone of voice said it all. She made me feel uncomfortable. I never make reviews about places but I had to get this off of my chest. Hopefully she sees this and can be more of a considerate and kind person to the members there.

It’s a pretty nice Rec center, not a great gym for weightlifting or bodybuilding. It’s definitely a community center, many people aren’t serious about working out. People hog equipment and are pretty inconsiderate. It’s crowded always and the equipment layout is not good. It doesn’t feel like a real gym. I’m sure this is a great place for community activities and Rec sports, but not for serious weightlifting
