We ate here for lunch, we had tickets for the WBNA game Chicago vs Connecticut. On the way to the restaurant we spotted Chennedy Carter from Chicago Sky and got a photo with her. Anyway, my husband was all excited about that and told our waitress and she was so nice and enthusiastic about him talking about it.
We both got burgers, husband got the Big Mike and I got the burger with bacon and blue cheese. They were both delicious! Service was great and even the manager stopped by the table to ask how our food was. Great food and service. Would definitely go again.

We went to the casino to see CES boxing and we arrived early to grab something to eat. We went to MJ 23 on my wife’s recommendation, since she has been here before with her peeps.
I was pleasantly surprised that the food was not overly priced and actually reasonable. The staff was friendly. We had a reservation, so we were in and seated quickly. I had a chicken cordon bleu sandwich and it was tasty. French fries weren’t the greatest, but they were OK .

Normally I try to visit a place a few times before I give review unless things are really bad or really good. And my visit was really good. The bartenders were super chatty with guests especially the regulars. But they helped us out when we were 1st timers here and made us feel welcomed. I got the boneless chipolte lime wings and they were probably the best wings I had in awhile. Chicken was white, moist, and with that sauce it was a symphony of flavor. Solid portion size for price which is something else I always look for. It was a slam dunk.

Once in a blue moon, you have an experience in a restaurant that captures everything that a dining establishment should possess.
The food was great. The sliders were hot, juicy and delicious. The chicken nachos were some of the best nachos that we have ever tasted. The fries were fresh and crisply presented and the iced tea was the perfect beverage accompaniment.
Now one would think that this was all one needed to be literally and figuratively “full” at a restaurant, but we must explain the difference between just having a lovely meal and having a full dining experience. It was absolutely the exceptional staff that gave our dinner, that is so often overlooked, the comfort and incredible level of hospitality.
Let’s start with our waitstaff. Her name is Casey and at a Sports Bar, it’s the perfect name as she hit it out of the park. Her efficiency, professionalism, attentiveness and most of all her incredible charm, wit and personality has no peer. We had such a splendid time that both Managers Mike and Joe came over to our table to greet us. The old saying goes, you’re only as good as who’s at the helm, well their leadership talents are well noted. We thank you all for us having a winning moment at Mohegan Sun.

The chili here is probably the best chili I’ve ever had from a restaurant and the jalapeño sour cream they mix into it is delicious. The garlic bread blue cheese fondue appetizer is great too. Unfortunately, the sandwich I ordered was not in the same tier. I got their steak sandwich which comes with overcooked steak (sort of), corn (for some reason, an insane amount of mushrooms and simply waaaaaaay too much cheese which is something I never thought I’d say but when you choose a cheese that’s not really known for its meltiness (provolone) it’s just glaringly obvious just from looking at your sandwich that it’s too much and for some reason, it’s served on a hot dog bun? Super weird. Asked for fries well done/extra crispy, they were not but at this point, practically no place I order fries from this way does them properly so I wonder if I should just stop writing about it. The upside to this is our awesome server realized I did not like the sandwich and took it off the bill without anyone even asking. The gf got the bacon jam sliders which were good but the bacon jams was just a little too sweet for me. I would definitely go back again (just for that chili) but will definitely have to try something different like the nachos or wings next time.

I'd give the food a 7 of 10. I got the big Mike burger it was lacking. If that was true waygu beef I'm surprised. My daughter said the filet was good and the boneless wings were also delicious. However, i wasnt impressed One and done for me.
