Haven't had a bad meal yet. Some meals were better than others. But... Their Italian beef!!!! Absolutely unbeatable! Only suggestion is take it OFF the permanent menu and only have it as a special when you have it in stock. The permanent menu if for items that are easy to make and ALWAYS! AVAILABLE! When it's that good it should be your priority but I understand it's probably not fun or easy to make. So don't let customers believe they can have some it is on the menu. Just write it on the dry erase board when you do have time to make it... Or make it every Sunday when you close at 2. I just love the Italian beef. Keep it up!

Their mushroom & swiss burger is awesome. Great breakfast as well. If you're traveling through Harrisburg on 13, it's worth the few miles out of your way.

Breakfast used to be good here but not the last two times we've been there and today was really bad. Order was cooked wrong and the waitress never returned to see how our food was or refill our drinks. We won't be back.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. We had breakfast which was amazing. I got their all meat omelet which was delicious. However it was like twice the size of omelets bought anywhere else.

Tucked away in the sleepy, cozy town of Carrier Mills, IL, The Mills Cafe is a memory hole of times gone by. With it's charming wood interior and classic Midwestern flare, the quality of food is just as nostalgic. Real, homemade beef patties, griddled buns, homemade rolls, and plenty of fried goodies that doesn't leave your face feeling like the tip of a chapstick.

With a homey staff that welcomes you like a long, lost traveler, it warrants a repeat visit; leaving you with the confidence that the next visit will be just as good as the first 🙂

Eggs were not done, 5$ piece of ham was cooked in a pan that had fried Polish sausage and wasn't cleaned afterward. Won't get another 20$ from me. Poliy ham not good.
