Best Shave Ice on the island by far. They add ice and flavors in layers as they make it so the flavors are on every bite. No artificial flavors: the syrups are made with real fruit and they put fresh fruit on top. Yum! The owner was so kind and even gave out free samples of fresh baked matcha bread while we were there.

I ordered the matcha/vanilla frosty with matcha drizzle. First of all finding a vegan yummy frosty on the island was not on my bingo card! I was extremely happy and satisfied. The matcha was delicious with no bitter taste at all. I ended up buying their ceremonial grade matcha because of that. They offer (2) vegan gluten free musubis (seaweed rice veggie sandwiches). I would have purchased more if I could have they were THAT good and affordable. I appreciated the staff, everyone was knowledgeable and happy. They also offered fresh star fruit for 50 cents! I definitely can’t wait to come back to try their Japanese style shaved ice.

It brings a new meaning to shave ice! It is like no other. In California we used to go to a place with similar fluff. One ordered coconut and mango toppings with the fluffy snow. We had a second one blueberry and guava. I asked for more condensed milk about halfway through. The matcha drinks are very good too. Another order was a Matcha Strawberry Frappe, creamy and well balanced with flavor. Quality is consistent with all orders. If you want to enjoy inside there is a stand up bar with a view of the ocean afar. Outside seating is also available.

Real fruit. Not "I dunno, we get it in a bag and blend it" stuff. Real fruit in a smoothie. Delicious . Even the shave ice is Real fruit puree. Definitely the best . Wish I found it on day 1

The matcha green tea-adzuki-matcha ice cream shaved ice (with house-made coconut flavor added) was delicious!
Matcha latte so-so.
Both items had light matcha flavor.
Will return for the mentioned ahaved ice.

I loved that Matcha-Ya was super clean, the workers were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered the Acai Berry Bowl. The berries were incredible with so much flavor. The granola was fresh. My son had a fruit shake and loved it.
We will definitely be stopping in again on our next vacation. This was a much healthier alternative to shaved ice.
