Maplewood Deli and Coffeehouse is my haven away from home where my dogs are treated like royalty. Frequent visits from my favorite guys Shane and Archie are always a delight. When I indulge, my absolute favorite is their lavender honey latte, the most soothing and relaxing drink I've ever savored. I adore their avocado toast, which may require a pinch of salt and pepper, but paired with eggs, sun-dried tomatoes, onions, and their other delectable options, it's a match made in heaven. Their breakfast sandwiches featuring herbal cream cheese are a game-changer - incredibly delicious and deserving of accompaniment with every order. The service is exceptionally friendly, kind, and welcoming, with the female owner being an absolute gem. She showers my dogs with love and attention, mirroring the top-notch care she provides to her customers. Undoubtedly, this is the ultimate coffee haven in Maplewood.

We went here today and had the best service! Our daughter has food allergies and she was treated with great respect from the beginning to the end. The barista checked and showed us ingredients, and took time with us so we could eat safely. Fabulous customer service! This barista is patient, kind, knowledgeable, understanding and amazing. The drinks and food are delicious. Round of applause to this barista! Thank you!

Very friendly very nice staff beautiful little diner in the middle of a small town with delicious food, friendly atmosphere and smiling faces. My family and I stopped here and we enjoyed everything about this place too bad. We don’t live close enough to come here every day. They also have gluten-free options on their menu, which is a hard to find. My daughter loves their burrito bowl.

We stopped by this place for our quick
Morning coffee and breakfast. It was Sunday morning, and the place was fully packed. We got a table and the coffee was served on the table l. The coffee was very basic and nothing fancy. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese. I requested the bagel to be toasted, however on arrival I discovered that it was not toasted. Anyways, the place was packed, and maybe they were on running on a shortage of staff. Even we found the service to be slow. My partner ordered some vegan burrito with butternut squash and spinach. It was also very basic and underwhelming.

Great coffee, breakfast, and lunch. Very cute space, and friendly staff. There's always people hanging out doing work there, but never too crowded. It's one of my go-to coffee shops in Maplewood!

I really wanted to love this place. Very quaint atmosphere. I ordered a bagel sandwich with eggs, to go. It was supposed to be a toasted everything bagel with eggs, herbed cream cheese and bacon, not panini pressed. What I got was a plain bagel, no cream cheese, scrambled eggs cooked until they are dry and crumbly, panini pressed. I also ordered a biscuit because I like them and wanted to try it. It was supposed to come with butter. The biscuit had about a dime size of butter in the middle. I asked if they had jelly, jam or preserves. She said yes and went to grab some. I asked what kind do you have? She replied grape jelly or blackberry jam. I said blackberry please. She stopped reaching into the cabinet where, apparently, the grape jelly is, took a little to go cup and went into the kitchen. I saw that she had left the lid on the counter. After about 30 seconds, I see a guy working up front pick up the lid. The whole time she was in back, I heard two women chatting. The guy says the woman's name and she comes right out with the jam. Yes, she was just chatting while she had my condiment and I'm waiting for that only. Seems like I interrupted her social time. The service like that and the way they ignored what I ordered and paid for and just made for me what they felt like was very disappointing. And who makes a sandwich with crumbly eggs that spill everywhere the instant you pick it up? The bacon was the least flavored bacon I've had. The biscuit was pretty good. I'd get that again. This place has so much potential. Yet it is unfulfilled.

One of the best selections of breakfast burritos and sandwiches that you can buy. If you didn't know better, you would think that you had a chef in the kitchen preparing Gourmet each morning. The coffee is very good, and while it is hard to distinguish excellent from great coffee, the atmosphere of this establishment makes a morning outing outstanding. Seating can be limited but it is typically not a big deal. What makes this place so good, is the combination of great food, with good coffee, a perfect environment, in a great location. So... It is the combination of all of these things but make it a place to return. There is a rewards program for purchasing coffee and the availability of coffee condiments is on par. Typically, there is a fair mix of casual encounters, with business meetings, and the single person enjoying a meal or drink.
