The malasadas were great!!! The dough is dense and soft inside, just the right amount of crisp and sugar outside! I was delighted to find so many options for fillings! I
got 6 different flavors, the ube cheesecake was my favorite! I can't wait to try their acai bowls next time too!

Absolutely amazing! We stumbled on this place while in Hilo and we would come back to Hawaii just for their malasadas. They are fried and filled fresh to order. We got the poi as they were out of original (I can't speak to which is better, but the poi version were so good that I'll plan to order them whenever it's available). We got them filled with guava, ube, liloki, cookie butter, creme brulee, and mango. Highly recommend all flavors, but the cookie butter, creme brulee, liloki, and ube were especially great (the ube was mindblowingly good - it tasted like chocolate). The malasadas were warm, with a light perfect crisp shell on the outside and pillowy soft insides that explode with a generous filling (ask for extra napkins!). This place is worth seeking out, whether you're in the area or not.

Love the Malasadas from this place. It's WAAAAY better than Tex's Drive In. The croissant sandwiches are delicious as well. Will be back again! ?

Loved the dough, but so sad with the filling! we paid $2 extra per malasada for filled ones, and there was about one bite of filling in each one. Couldn't really taste it because of that. Was so excited to try but kids were disappointed too. Maybe it was an off day.

Malasadas were amazing! The convenience of this spot is also amazing! Large menu made it easy to choose what we wanted, and they were drive through which is awesome! Got a Cold Brew coffee and it was black, but yet tasted sweet and light. Not sure how she did it but it was great! Malasadas were crunchy and massive! Great spot!

Ordered two lattes and two malasadas. The posted menu with the price clearly states the lattes are $5 (see photo). Homegirl tried to charge us $26.00 for our 2 lattes and 2 malasadas. When we asked how it could be that much when the lattes are clearly posted at $5 ea she claimed the lattes were $8 each and that the owner just never bothered to change the posted menu prices. Why, just why? When we asked why we were being charged $10 for 2 malasadas the cashier said she upgraded us to 3 for $10. Few things sis, 1) don’t take it upon yourself to upgrade/upcharge my order without telling me first. 2), get some white out and fix the prices on your displayed menu if it’s going to be $6 more than what your menu says for two lattes. Felt like she was trying to rip us off and to top it all off, we didn’t even get the 2 lattes we originally ordered. She just gave us coffee with milk in it. Didn’t even ask if we wanted sugar. Won’t be back. Not sure if she is the owner or not but if she isn’t, the owner should know that your cashier is charging for $8 lattes. Even the DoorDash menu says lattes are $6 each. Poor business practices right there

Tried this as we were too far from another place that was highly recommended. We are used to eating Leonard's on Oahu, but these malasada and my group tasted them and although fresh and hot, had an odd "alcoholy' taste... Def something odd - we ordered plain with cinnamon sugar. No go. Maybe their coffees are better, Sign says best malasada on the big Island..don't think so.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. There is Absolutely no customer service here. The lady needs to find another job because her miserable attitude is terrible. WE PAY YOUR BILLS GIRL. CALM DOWN. Maybe if you had better customer service you would have MORE business. Then asked for a big tip? I absolutely think not.

Don't order coffee or a spam masubi roll here.

The malasadas were ok but definitely not great. These are dense and not fluffy
