Magic Tea and Coffee - Tampa, Florida

While in the area, I was craving tea, so I searched nearby and found Magic Tea and Coffee.

I decided to visit, and after browsing the menu, I ordered a Thai Milk Tea with less sugar and ice, as well as a hot White Chocolate Mocha.

The ambiance of the tea shop was casual and beautifully decorated, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The service was prompt, and we soon received our drinks.

I started with the White Chocolate Mocha, which was delicious--the coffee was freshly roasted and expertly made.

Next, I tried the Thai Milk Tea, and it was exactly what I wanted--perfectly balanced with less sugar and ice. We thoroughly enjoyed both drinks.

I'll definitely be back to explore more of their amazing flavors made with fresh ingredients.

Joseph was the employee on duty and even in a rush he took his time with everything and added so much love. ❤️ He was amazing even answering questions as he was working. The coolest thing is they have this little play area for kids with Legos! So even if u are trying to have a quiet meal and I have to bring the kiddy a long have no fear they gotcha covered! YAYY bona was great got the taro milk smoothie with coffee jellys. They have allot of different options and they also have some treat snacks ? totally recommend.

Super excited that HappyLemon came to Tampa.
The staff was very kind. The drinks that I’ve ordered were very fresh. Definitely check out their waffles if you get the chance. It’s a must try when you check out HappyLemon. Definitely coming back and try out others drinks that they have on the menu.

Some (not all) drinks can be pretty sweet even at 0% sweetness. However, the drinks are good and you can taste tea unlike some shops. Boba texture is slightly harder than what I prefer, but the flavor of the tapioca balls was good. Even though it was the grand opening, if was very organized and drinks came out very quick.

Waffles had a bit of a wait but was delicious when eaten fresh as it is chewy but a crispy outside. Gets a little soft if not eaten within 10 minutes.

Super cute place , I got the mango smoothie with regular tapioca boba, and also got the Nutella and guava taiyaki . So good .

Quality of product was never an issue. Recently, however, owners or management has obviously decided to try to save pennies on product by ripping off their customers and basically putting so much ice in their tea cups that a straw can’t even penetrate the wall of ice. When asked for product without ice, they up charge an extra dollar which is fine, but still fail to fill the cup even 2/3 full. Overall it’s very patronizing and makes the experience of tea very cheap and unattractive. People are willing to pay the margins which are very high on tea to begin with, but fill the damn cups will you? How cheap. Lifetime customer value matters more than saving a few cents per cup which are already being sold much higher than production cost. Look at these photos. Upcharged for no ice hahaha laughable.

The owner seems nice and courteous. However the flavor of the tiger taro tea wasn’t good. It felt like I was drinking milk. Would recommend making it differently.

A good amount of variety. The staff is very nice but occasionally the food & drinks take a bit or if very busy sometimes are forgotten. Regardless, the atmosphere is very comfy and cute.
