Beautiful roadside park with many picnic tables and lots of space.

We visited mid-day and the park was quite empty and felt very safe. Stunning views!

Definitely a great beach with great tides, much calmer than Northshore beaches... very family oriented and check out The Lantern for great food if you're in the area!
I gave it four stars because where I parked there wasn't a beach wash off area...

Been to this Beach many times . Its always a favorite fir sunset photos. With long stretches of beautiful white sand beach .its a place that one can come and remember just how blessed we are to live in such a place. Be respectful and remember to spread some aloha..

Maili Beach Park - arguably the best , longest , well maintained beach and park.

Playground, clear water , fluffy sand , restrooms, plenty of trash cans, large grassy areas, children and dog friendly park.

Good for camping I believe. We did a day trip spent 1 hour there. Not suitable for swimming

It's a peaceful beach park in Maili with all the commodities you need to enjoy the beach. Talking about the beach the water is so clean and clear that you can see your toes when standing in it. Very safe for kids because the waves are very generous and gentle.

We stayed a block down from this wide stretch of beautiful beach. Each time I aviators it felt different. Large waves one visits, calmer and more swimmer friendly the next visit, and then loads of teenagers boogie boarding and families BBQing. It felt like a great neighbourhood beach with plenty of local parties being set up.
There were showers and lots of parking.
It really was a wicked beach and I’m grateful that our Air bnb was close. Everything I heard about the west side of Oahu was overinflated. Yes, there are some homeless, and yes there were a few druggies on the street, but everyone else said aloha and was open to a chat/ I felt no negative vibes, and would certainly visit again for a more local and authentic experience of Hawaii.
