An unexpected small town gem. M&J's Kitchen looks and feels like a classic American diner. The wait staff were friendly and the food was better than expected. I ordered the pastrami burger and when it arrived it looked picture perfect (see the perfect picture attached). I sampled the curly fries and onion rings and both were excellent.

We were heading home to Meridian, ID. from Great Falls, Montana and were looking for a place for breakfast.
We found this place on Google and the reviews weren't too bad. We decided to give it a try.
We were actually pleasantly surprised! The outside of the building didn't seem very appealing. But, once inside it was very clean and we were met with very friendly staff.
The food was extremely cheap, but not in taste! I think they could definitely raise their prices a bit!
I would absolutely stop here again!

Excellent food and service. The atmosphere is homey and comfortable.
They have an extensive menu so anyone will have a great choice.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
A few weeks ago when my friend and I stopped in after golf, the special was a delectable plate of large chicken strips covered in a mouth watering sauce that gives you both a sweet and savory experience with a hint of heat, called Sticky Fingers. Sticky yes, and definitely delicious. Since then we have tried other dishes, which were all delicious, but were craving more Sticky Fingers, so asked the waitress and she had us talk with the cook. He kindly told us that he would put them on special today.
Well I am here to tell you, we were very happy. Lots of delicious food which gave both of us enough to bring home and have for another meal or two. We make it a point to stop every week after golf, but I encourage anyone to stop by when you’re near because the food is excellent.

Homestyle, hot and delicious tasting food made to order. Great service. Plenty of tables for large families. The owner welcomed us with a smile and was attentive and hard working. Plenty of coffee. Dine in or drive thru window. They take orders over the phone.

We ate at 9:30 on a Tuesday. Lots of parking. The business was steady. Lots of happy and satisfied customers. Multilingual business, (spanish is spoken here).

It's hard to say which was our favorite... homestyle potatoes, fluffy buttery pancakes, crispy bacon, eggs or chichen fried steak with gravy. Everything was seasoned just right. We enjoyed everything.

Lots of parking. RV parking on street. Free Wifi

Have the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. Was very hungry but I was not able to eat my steak it was raw in the middle. They did not charge me. Usually a great place to eat.

Was driving through town and enjoyed this local place. Good lunch and it’s smells like bacon when you drive up. Always a sign of a good lunch. 😉
