Mr John Peck,

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my experience at Lynwood Skate Rink today. I had looked forward to a fun outing with my children for a birthday but unfortunately, the events that transpired left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome.

When I was asked to place my belongings in a locker, I calmly informed the staff member that I would comply once another adult returned to the table to supervise the children. This was my only interaction with your manager. Yet, others were later told I was just "not nice". I found this characterization both unfair and unprofessional.

Additionally, I was confronted by several individuals who stood over me, yelling profanity in the presence of this same manager. Rather than addressing this inappropriate behavior, the manager made me feel as though I was the problem because my coat was still on the table. At that point, I made the decision to remove my children from the environment for their well-being.

I am truly disappointed by the lack of professionalism and conflict resolution from management. As a paying customer, I expected a safe and welcoming atmosphere. That was not my experience. Because of this, I will not be returning, nor will I recommend Lynwood Skate Rink to others.

I hope you take this feedback seriously and use it to improve customer interactions and conflict resolution in the future.

The rink is nice however never have a birthday party there. We were there from 1-4. You couldn’t bring balloons in except on the side to sit. Of course there was no room to sit. Although we booked and paid for a party we could only sit back at the table from 3-345pm. Then the young lady who was supposed to be our server with the bad gel and big baby hair had mad attitude. Still trying to understand what we paid 140 for? The place was packed and they had back to back parties. It definitely is about the money and not the people at this place. Good place to skate horrible for birthday parties. This will be our last time there. We’ve had better experiences there before but today was horrible!

The sound system is terrible. Can not hear the DJ on the microphone. The music sound muffled. Place is small and tight. Parking lot got holes everywhere. The place needs a make over..

It was great fun for a good price! Great way to exercise and have a change of pace for the family. We will definitely be coming back.

Great vibe! DJ was cool and the facility was managed well. A few more walkers would be nice for the smaller kids. Maybe extend the hours as well. Overall, great experience.

I tried to take my teenage daughter skating for her birthday and was told I would need to accompany the teens. After taking them in I was told that teenagers could not enter even if accompanied by an adult “if they did not have their own skates”.
The manager Diane told me that the reason we were let in originally is because her staff is incompetent and confused.
Another man came and was told something similar. Diane told him that no one on her staff could remember the rules well enough to elaborate them over the phone.
My daughter and her friends are upset but I feel worse for the associates working for someone like Diane.

Fun place for a kids bday party or even just to skate. After 4pm I think it is more adult. Only issue is there wasn't any air circulation in there. Other than that, very very fun experience and the dj was FIRE today 9/21/24

So fun to roller skate! They have made a lot of improvements since I was last here. Nice little DJ Booth, nice skate floor, nice benches. Slots upstairs. Only downside was the arcade games needed maintenance. Badly. Snack stand was typical for a roller drink.
